After that I ...

Re: The action cannot be completed because the other application
Yes, XYplorer locks it.
The folder was empty, it was a "Move" operation, done by XYplorer. Nothing else was using the folder, I don't even have a Virus scanner installed.

Re: The action cannot be completed because the other application
It helped a little bit. I don't need to close and re-open XYplorer any more.
But it's still there, see screenshot here: https://www.screencast.com/t/2SWfXYpAqidd
If I click "OK" the process will be finished anyway.

Re: How to activate the new Preview function for PDF files?
Yes, I'm using the thumbnails cache. But View | Caches | Refresh Thumbnails is grayed out.
After changing a little bit in configuration Refresh Thumbnails is no more grayed out. But Refresh Thumbnails did not help.

Unfortunately it didn't help. I already have PDF-XChange Viewer installed, added the data into the registry and rebootet. Nothing changed.

Re: Question about timestamping
Thank you. You are right, it is in the help file. I simply didn't understand the "cloned dates" part in the headline (my English is to bad). Maybe I didn't read carefully enough.
