Version 17.40 - unsigned - Publisher Unkown
I noticed with version 17.40, the installation file is not sign. Publisher: Unknown is what pops up during installation. Although the checksum is correct for the file download. Is this an oversight or as intended?

Re: SnagIt 11 and XY 11.9 and scrolling-screen
Here's mine... http://i.imgur.com/W4XLQ.png I used "extended window," then the "Extended Window Capture Preview" dialog pops up. Set the "Vertical" to a larger number and capture. Then just crop-out anything you don't want. It works, thank you. But not the default all-...

Re: Two critical features I can not find in XYPlorer
Dual Tree would easily take 2 months to build and another 10 to debug. I'd guessed it would be a very major project and the potential base of new customers from it, compared to...say, MLS...makes it unpractical...This may be one of those cases where we just hope that all the other features of XY wi...

Re: Moving File (1) Between Panes Freezes
I've exited XY completely. Only uses one tab per pane and the file moves just fine, whereas, I had multiple tabs on each pane when moving file freezes. I just started using multiple tabs with dual panes today and not yesterday. Maybe this will add more clues on why XY freezes. I think I figured it ...

Re: Experiencing Three Quirks/Bugs(?)
- Every so often (with folders that contain many sub-folders and lots of files), new folders (copy from another location) are not display in the directory tree but is in the pane. I have to hit F5 in directory tree to refresh. The folder contains roughly 150 sub-folders and 650 files, all small fil...

Re: Experiencing Three Quirks/Bugs(?)
I'll keep an eye out and use F4 next time. I was in the tree when hitting F5, also I have auto-refresh on.RalphM wrote:By standard settings (unless you changed the shortcut) F5 does only refresh the list.
Use F4 to refresh the tree...and check out the other options in menu View...

Re: Wonderful - saw xplorer2 on Bits du Jour but bought XYpl
Amazing program. Saw xplorer2 on BitsduJour, Googled for some reviews, from there decided to try the demos of xplorer2 and XYplorer and preferred XYplorer. Can't think I will ever outgrow XYplorer with all its features and at the rate it develops. So I purchased a copy of XYplorer. A sale from a co...

Re: Two critical features I can not find in XYPlorer
Thank you. And also, I *did* do a search on both questions. In both Help and the forum. Since the dual tree will never be a feature in XyPlorer I will just uninstall the trial and move on. Thanks again. I wouldn't say "never" but guess when Don gets around to it, and if there are enough u...

Re: SnagIt 11 and XY 11.9 and scrolling-screen
I've tried all the options in "Capture Type" and none would scroll down XY, in the tree or pane(s) window.kunkel321 wrote:Try setting "capture type" to advanced > extended window.

SnagIt 11 and XY 11.9 and scrolling-screen
I'm using SnagIt 11 and it doesn't display the rolling-screen option in XY (when tons of files are listed), but does in regular Explorer. Is this something XY needs to incorporate so that SnagIt can do the rolling-screen or is this a SnagIt issue of recognizing other apps? Thank you.

Re: small bug - 11.90.0100 - color filters
Yes, unfortunately there is this little upgrade bug with the color filter setting. Believe me, I suffer most from it because I have to explain this in countless support emails every day... I noticed I can change color for the TAB under "classic" visual style but not for "windo...

Re: How is XY 64 bit coming along?
No, not standardization - I mean managed, as in code requires a framework runtime seperately installed in order to run (which for microsoft usually means .NET). An unmanaged language is capable of being completely self sustaining - for example, C++. Seen this way VB is managed - as it needs a VB ru...

Re: Experiencing Three Quirks/Bugs(?)
Turning off refresh is not something I prefer, but did try. Using generic icon is fine, but overall, the tips didn't help speed up XY. I'm looking forward to 12.x for improvements, etc.serendipity wrote:Tip: Hold control key and click Help>Various Information.
You'll get some tips on speeding up XY.
