Option to put Count only under Type column and not Size
Hello, I have two requests regarding the "count" function for directories: 1. To make optional placing the count information in the "Type" column rather than next to the size information in the "Size" column. I think most, if not all, will not confuse directories with f...

Re: Typing file name which include Unicode characters FAIL
It is clear that the problem exist. I think the focus ought to be about why it shows up. It might be the range of the Unicode numbers—I speculate. I used a keyboard layout produced by Smashing Magazine back in 2009 (http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2009/04/02/typography-keyboard-layout-download-now/)...

Re: Typing file name which include Unicode characters FAIL
I understand the dilemma of balancing resources with outcome that fits the needs of customers—the constant struggle between Sales and R&D. However, I surely hope you keep the engineer or scientist in the driver's seat and build a better widget. PS: One support claim does not equal to one custome...

Re: Typing file name which include Unicode characters FAIL
Hello,
Checking for decision/update/progress/suggestions/practical work-around. Any news?
Is this classed as a bug? If so, I will just wait via the normal update process.
Thanks.

Re: Better RegEx Support
I think it is time to re-evaluate the sentiment to move to a more feature-rich implementation of Regular Expression, and PCRE2 is probably the best way to go. VB uses the JavaScript implementation in Internet Explorer 5.5, and that's at the turn of the century (1999/2000). Time to move on. Right? Si...

Re: Typing file name which include Unicode characters FAIL
Thanks. That was helpful. 1. Can/will you point to the source of the keyboard layout file so that I may install and try? 2. I will try to upload my keyboard layout file with an associated image layout for you to test, if you wish, as the problem still exist: A) All other programs (MS Office, SoftMak...

Re: Typing file name which include Unicode characters FAIL
@Sammy and jackpots: can you confirm that this happens in Photoshop or Proshowgold? If yes, then the problem (typing Unicode chars become "?") seems to be caused by "the target application uses system control keys such as [ , ]". The developer of Unikey (Vietnamese typing softwa...

Re: Typing file name which include Unicode characters FAIL
Anyway, this is a very basic function of file managers to label a file in a standard manner. I hope it is actively being addressed. Unicode is not just for non-Western language input. Thanks everyone. ============ @SammaySarkar Thanks, you are correct that it was posted/confirmed back in August 2014...

Re: Typing file name which include Unicode characters FAIL
It defaults in either the basic latin character on the keyboard or a "?" which then fails as an illegal file name.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Typing file name which include Unicode characters FAIL
I am unable to accomplish a simple task: creating a file with a name which includes Unicode characters. I am able to do the following: 1. View/manipulate an existing file with Unicode characters in file name. 2. Create a new.txt and paste the string (with Unicode characters) as file name. 3. Create ...

Selecting text in file names.
I tested a trial of XYplorer sometime ago and found it good with a little quirk that prevented adoption. In selecting a file in order to edit the its name, XYplorer differs from most, if not all, standard file managers (and itself in other areas) in selecting discrete words. So, if a file name is &q...
