Many videos tested. None play. MKV/MP4 containers with H264/H265/AVC/HVEC and AAC/AC3 codecs at 720p/1080p.

Have I missed a setting?

I've seen that with the side window preview with heavy preview activity. After some time the display distorts and locks up. Restart solves it, though inconvenient.

Initial display irregularity. This is after bootup. Closing and restarting XYp generally clears things up.
This has been going on throughout the 64-bit beta.

Surely one of my files is compatible. No codec or container I have seems to do more than offer a Thumbnail. https://i.imgur.com/nIyVJNz.png Probably a setting I don't understand somewhere. Is there guidance on this? Also automated *.webp appears only static in preview (animated gifs are good though)...

Thanks, I didn't. Your problem is the remembered Maxi Tree with 1029 nodes. I assume it starts up faster the second time since Windows caching will have set in by then. Also, I don't think the 32-bit version is much faster with the same setup. Or is it? Restart showed 2,344 ms. Dropped confirm tree...

Using the beta

and it takes 11-12 seconds to appear from click on W11. Otherwise it is not often laggy.

Now works like Windows. Copy is the default when dragging, holding "shift" forces move.

If I drag a file or folder from the mail window, to a folder in the left-pane, the only option is "move". I cannot copy holding either ctrl key.

Didn't know there was a 64-bit beta... so awesome. Installed and same error as you've shown.

Just started after upgrade today. I right click image in preview and select "Copy Original".

I do this repeatedly with various images. Inevitable this comes up.
