Not in just one folder but in others. If I press on the thumbnail the cropped image will pop up correc...

Re: Layout of Preview pane + HTML icon thumbnail
Thanks, that worked out. In more searching I came across a old program called 'HTML Explorer Thumbnails' that I remembered probably from Windows XP days. It created the preview thumbnails. Since Windows Vista and onward, microsoft removed the ability to display thumbnails preview for HTML files. Als...

Also can the HTML icon have a thumbnail of the webpage instead of the Firefox icon? Firefox is my default web browser. Win...

Re: Windows 11 keeps asking "Select an app to open this .JPG file"
XYplorer just uses the Windows file associations. How do I reset the default associations in Windows 10? Microsoft will reset the file associations and to fix this do the following: To reset all Apps and File Associations to default in Windows 11/10, do the following. You have to do a Reset first as...

Close side panel with keystroke or toolbar button
I have xyplorer open and see a side panel column on the left with the folder tree and the other column shows the files.
Question: Is there a way to close and re-open the folder tree with a keystroke or adding a button on the toolbar?

Changes in Configuration that will not stick after closing XYplorer
Changes in Configuration that will not stick after closing XYplorer. I have Windows 10 Pro 64-bit and XYplorer 24.40 I noticed that when I would open a XYplorer folder and go to: Tools> Configuration and make changes that some would not stick after I close the folder and re-open. Re: Can XYplorer display .webp files as thumbnails?
Thanks.
It was not listed until I used 'Find' in the upper right of the screen you suggested and typed in: webp
and there it was and it was unchecked. I checked it and it now displays the files.
Thanks again.
