Re: Column question: Lines of text in a text file?
Cool -- Thanks Fellas! Jupe's first one does indeed seem to return the correct numbers for the txt and ahk files I'm working with. I'm curious though, when using the

Re: Column question: Lines of text in a text file?
Ah yes. I was missing the dot. This does the trick. return gettoken(readfile(<cc_item>), "count", <crlf>) . " Lns." ; Interestingly, I'm finding that it doesn't work on every txt file. On some of them, and all ahk files only ever show "1". I'm guessing that the <crlf> ...

Re: Column question: Lines of text in a text file?
return gettoken(readfile(<cc_item>), "count", <crlf>); Thanks Highend! Below is the setup, if anyone is curious. Also a follow up question: Is it possible to append a bit of text to the end, when there is a value returned? So that it will show up as, for example 234 Lns. ? CC 2026-01-08_1...

Column question: Lines of text in a text file?
Is there a straight-forward way to show this? What I'd really like is the number of lines of code in an ahk file. I don't suspect there is an easy way to do that, but I believe that ahk files are just text files with UTF-8 encoding. So maybe the overall number of lines(?) I have a Custom Column that...

"Default" as Label back color?
Still on the Label topic, but I guess this warrants a separate thread... I have my folders color coded (via Color Filters) to be a manila-yellow color. But then I also want to apply label colors. The CF folder color does still show on the right edge of the folder name, out from under the Label color...

Re: How to use Label Column?
Yep -- Sure enough.
As I look closer, I see that mine also has a "Highend" column -- LOL. As I recall, a long time ago, you wrote the code for the "Size 2" column (also seen in screenshot).

Re: How to use Label Column?
Ah yes--Very good. Thanks.
Interesting note: I don't think you can add the column by right-clicking the headers in list view. Instead you have to go to View Menu > Columns > Add column.

How to use Label Column?
I've renamed some of my colored Labels and assigned them to some folders. The folders are now colorized as expected. I'm using Details View and added a "Select property..." / "Label" column. It doesn't show the name or color of the labels though--should it? XY labels 2026-01-05_1...

Re: Also on Update
Maybe check your "Various Information" for clues... In Help menu, Ctrl+Click on "Various Information." Another thing to try... Save a backup of all your settings/customizations, then make a default/out-of-the-box version of XY and run that for a few hours. See if the problem occu...

Re: QuickPath tool to quickly add open folder paths to file dialogs.
I don't see a benefit of just having Quick Switch in AHK V2 As far as I know, there aren't any AHK v2 versions of QuickSwitch. The JoyHak code appears to be AHK v1(?) That said, I agree that there is no really benefit of using an AHK v2 script instead of a v1 one. Also, I believe it is totally fine...

Any benefits to updating to 64 bit version?
I'm sure this has already been discussed, though I didn't find the answer via forum search. I've been off the forums for a while, so I'm catching up... I see Help/Online Support/Update to 64 bit version . Also, in the Beta Versions subforum, I see that there are threads for 32 and 64. -Is there real...

So if I post a screenshot in a forum post, should I use something other than imgur? Is there a preferred host that folks use?
