"Foldable" Branch View?
I use Branch View pretty often and it occurred to me that it might be useful if the folders and subfolders where foldable/collapsable. I know that you can select which folders get expanded into Branch View by selecting them prior to using BV. This would be similar, but you could show/hide the conten...

Good uses for CEAs?
I updated my xy for the first time in a couple months. I was happy to read about Custom Event Actions! I'm just curious what kind of cool ways people are using this new feature...

Correct on both things! Many thanks Highend!
If anyone is curious: The 'Unblock' for the help file (XYplorer.chm) was at >Right click >Properties >General tab.

<path> syntax?
Hi All, Is this correct?
Please note that I'm using a fully portable setup.
C:\PortableApps\xyplorer_21.00_beta_noinstall\Data\Scripts
On a related note, My CHM help file is not displaying anything in the main pane for some reason.... I will try to reload later.
Code: Select all
load "<xyspath>\ReNamerCode.xys";
C:\PortableApps\xyplorer_21.00_beta_noinstall\Data\Scripts

Mazot's got a good thing going too. THe colors are a bit of a deviation from Don's original theme, but the different colors do make them easier to distringuish...

Re: XYplorer script (xys, xyi) icons?
I was playing around trying to replicate Don's style in Xs and Xi. The "i" is particularly difficult because it's vertical, which is at odds with all of the exsisting angles (which are diagnol) I quess they do survive the 16 pix reduction antialiasing better than I expected. I can't figure out why X...

Re: XYplorer script (xys, xyi) icons?
I'm not sure I could do any better than what you have.. Regarding the 3D gradient, it occures to me that there is a thin darker rim on the top edge. It gives the shape the appearance of being "embossed" rather than a full-on 3D egg shape. Having said that, at the resolution you have in your image, t...

Re: XYplorer script (xys, xyi) icons?
I don't know... Those look pretty good. Are you wanting to match Don's style more, or are you heading in the other direction -- wanting a totally different look?

Re: XYplorer script (xys, xyi) icons?
Hey Highend!
Are there any particular images you're looking for in an icon? Like what kind of scripts need an icon? Or is it an icon to denote scripting in general?
And what in the world is an xyi extension!!!?? I guess I'd better start spending more time on the forum...

Re: pdf MDBU with Acrobat DC?
Correct. Now that you mention it,I don't get thumbs for DOC or XLS files either. And it's not just xyplorer. I also don't get thumbs for those in Window Explorer, Total Commander, or Directory Opus.

Re: pdf MDBU with Acrobat DC?
Thanks for the reply Highend. I should have added that, yes, the normal preview pane does seem to be working for PDFs. Also, the MDBU does work for other file types like .docx and .png. I tried that checkbox anyway, just to be sure, but it didn't fix it. I've noticed that the "working" cursor image ...

pdf MDBU with Acrobat DC?
Hi There, In the past I've always installed the free PDF Xchange, because it has the necessary Windows extensions for MDBUs with PDF. My current work computer doesn't let me install my own stuff though. I do have Adobe DC (the free reader and also the full Acrobat DC) installed. MDBU is not working ...

Re: Strange multi-select
Here we go... That previous post was:
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=10691
and my problem was that I had accidentally turned on 'sticky select.' I didn't notice I had done so, so I then unchecked 'multiple select.' Anarchy ensued.
