Re: Save Settings icon on the toolbar is not updated when clicked at in the latest updates.

I mean, the Save function works OK when this button is clicked at, and saving is also properly updated in the status bar. Just that the icon colour is not updated to green as in version *0300 and earlier. It stays orange.

Re: Save Settings icon on the toolbar is not updated when clicked at in the latest updates.

OK. I seem to have identified the faulty update:

v28.00.0300 still works OK
v28.00.0304 does not, it does not update the settings icon in the toolbar. When XY starts it's painted green. When changed to orange it stays orange when clicked at.

Hope this helps :)

Those were minor - all beta updates. Not even a week back, something like that. Just after one of these updates I noticed this change.

Re: Save Settings icon on the toolbar is not updated when clicked at in the latest updates.

Apart from the latest version *400, all closest from earlier period are 32-bit. I've been on a 64-bit version for quite some time. Would such a test with a 32-bit version be relevant?

Re: Save Settings icon on the toolbar is not updated when clicked at in the latest updates.

Did not help. The same in latest v *400.

The latest version loads with green icon, but as soon as I update it it changes to orange and stays orange.

Re: Save Settings icon on the toolbar is not updated when clicked at in the latest updates.

Mine stays orange (unsaved), instead of previous green (saved), even when clicked at. Settings saved info on the status bar gives the feedback on saving correctly.

It's all in my profile. Always using the latest x64 version, updating daily. Screen scaling 100%, Win 11 Pro 25H2 with latest updates.

Re: Status bar question

Great! Finally got it. Works OK.
Many thanks! Kudos to you!!

My problem has been solved, but I still think it would be worthwhile to add this as a built-in setting into the XYplorer, even if as an optional feature for those who would want to have it :)

Re: Status bar question

It doesn't work. Formatting doesn't return a correct capacity info in one number.
