Re: Thumbnails not generating normally in 20.10

Thanks for looking into it. I noticed issues with "create all at once" a few weeks ago, but I wasn't able to nail it down and didn't have the time to investigate. When I saw today others were experiencing problems I figured I'd pipe in as well.

Re: Thumbnails not generating normally in 20.10

I'm having the same issue as m48tx as far as my thumbnails not being created all at once though the setting is checked in Configuration. I'm on vacation taking a ton of pictures and transferring them from my camera SD cards to my laptop. I'm making new sub folders setup by day under the main folder ...

Re: Is there a user command to run specific layout window directly?

Yes, use the SC loadlayout. See examples in the help file under scripting commands. You can save your layouts using SC loadlayout. They are simply saved as text files. You can then open them using the loadlayout command as well. I'd recommend saving them in a "layouts" folder under XYplorer's data f...

Re: Possible including "Preview" tab in saved layout windows?

You can open the info panel as part of the layout ShowInfoPanel=1 in the layout file. The info panel will typically open to the last tab used so if you last used Preview it will open to Preview. If that's not good enough for your needs, just invoke Command ID #1023 which opens the info panel to the ...

Re: Viewing multi-page PDF documents?

Yeah, you should be able to page through the PDF files in the preview pane. I can using PDF XChange Viewer. Take a look at Configuration > Preview > Preview Formats. First look at what you have checked off for file formats under the category - "Office files" (in the top box, highlight Office Files)....

Re: Like a new feature? Say thanks here

Separate colors for treepath tracing and locations pins - now they play nicely together. And thanks for allowing separate scroll values for thumbnails / tiles. :cup:  :appl:

Re: Different mousewheel scroll lines delta for each View (Details, List, Thumbs)

The fact the you like it now is of utmost importance, but you've had the program set such that you can scroll a page since day one. So I really appreciate it Don and I don't think this would be for me only. There has to be plenty of users out there that are accustomed to scrolling thumbnails a page ...

Re: Different mousewheel scroll lines delta for each View (Details, List, Thumbs)

So, from now on the wheel does 1 line per notch in thumbnails and tiles views? Trust me, it feels totally natural right away. It's not natural to me. I'm used to looking or scanning through all the pictures displayed on the page and scrolling to the next page, not having to scroll for each line / r...

Re: Tab text in Dark mode

No problem. I just figured I'd point it out. I should and will be assigning both background and text tab colors (even if they're plain black). :)

Tab text in Dark mode

Don, I noticed the other day that if you color the background of a tab but do not color the tab text, the text doesn't display properly in Dark mode. The hexadecimal format color entry in this case is blank. Whereas if you purposely color the text hex color black (000000), the Dark mode handles the ...

Re: Individual tab colors are MIA

OK thanks. I didn't see them in XYplorer.ini.

I know where my colors went now. Your last post clued me in. I had clicked on a session using Flux's Session Manager. That "Normal" session had not been saved using the colored tabs and of course that script heavily uses pane.ini. Bingo.

Re: Individual tab colors are MIA

Thanks Don. It's very strange that they're not there. I said to myself this morning, "What the hell happened?" I can't positively say they were missing on the update to v20, but I know they were all colored before that. I use a script line to accomplish my updates - update 1+16+128; Could you give t...
