Re: Full Screen Preview Background Color

Try hitting the "B" key while in Full Screen Preview. That will cycle the background colors. Also use right click and control-right click to see other options available.

Re: two panels - one panel

But to do it I have to create a button right? No, you don't have to use a Customized Toolbar Button though you can if you want. As I mentioned above, instead you can use a User-Defined Command. I gave you some basic instructions on how to do that. You can assign the script to run on any key press y...

even after i release the ctrl key the contents are not shown
Yeah, that's odd. I don't know if there would be a setting or tweak affecting that. Try it in a fresh copy of XY. Does control+tab work the way you want (i.e., list pane contents shown as you cycle through the tabs). It does for me.

Re: Ctrl+pgup/pgdn doesn't change tab

It shows the contents once you release the control key. I'm not sure I'd want it to show the contents as you're hitting PgUp and PgDn. Besides control+tab does what you want.

Re: two panels - one panel

If I understand you correctly, a short script would do something close to what you want. Like highend stated, you can't close all tabs in a pane (i.e., one must be open). Assign this script to a User-Defined Command in the Run Script category (Menu User > Manage Commands... > Run Script > new...) an...

Re: Skin: Mosaic

I had tested a few things myself and I couldn't find any way to test for a valid XY built-in key. I mentioned that only because I figured you may at some point be devising a way through a menu or whatever to change skinsets or revert back to XY's original. Your _unlock script does its job nicely as ...

Re: Skin: Mosaic

Thanks. Sammay's _unlock.xys script is simply looping through a designated folder and unlocking the patch files (i.e., using SC patchimage to remove the patch image) so when it comes across one that doesn't exist, there's a hiccup. Burp! :) Maybe there is someway in the script to ignore an image fil...

Re: Skin: Mosaic

Hi sfwood, very nice skinsets. Thank you. I noticed when I ran Sammay's "_unlock.sys" on the mosaic or mosaic-gray skinsets that we get an invalid key on two of the keys "dpbackupto" and "preview-tab-info" on code line patchimage $key, '', $size; . It only occurs on those two key image files. There ...

Re: Skin: Onyx

Who knows maybe my elementary comments will help others applying or un-applying skinsets for the first time. Now all we need are some talented graphics people to come up with some additional skinsets. Where's kunkel321 when we need him? I say that because he's done quite a lot of XYplorer icon graph...

Re: Skin: Onyx

Hi Sammay, I'm sure you know this already, but the code you have in "_unlock.xys" script works well in the actual Skin folder itself too. So to revert back to XY's original built-in skinset (or maybe I should call it XY's built-in icons), all you have to do is: run unlock script code in the Skin fol...

You can also copy the _unlock.xys script...
Thanks Sammay, I figured that's what the script did after the fact. So the script essentially uses patchimage $key, '', $size; with a blank file name to unlock the set of keys to be used. The script worked fine before loading Onyx.alt. Thanks.

Re: Skin: Onyx

Great Sammay. Yeah, let's face it application is the big thing - applying, changing skins, and reverting back to the original built-in icons with relative ease. I noticed that I could not change the keys in the skins folder that was currently in use (e.g., copying the colored Onyx over the existing ...

Re: Skin: Onyx

Very cool Sammay! I only tried Onyx skinset, but will load the others too. A couple of things I thought of that might to nice for possible "future" updates: - Automate the process of skinset selection and application. Have a menu selection of the folders under Skinsets where the user can select the ...
