Re: Like a new feature? Say thanks here

Hi Don,

Recent Location Pins are awesome (sorry, it's no trumpism but the truth  ). They made me use the tree again.

Well, G is not a hex char, man...
Ich war im vollkommen falschen Film (obviously, when using HEXs humming the ABC for the boy in parallel isn't always a good idea...)

I should report these posts. Sorry, everybody.

Qué?
Look at the smaller (relative) tab area size in the GGGGGG shot.

With a fresh instance, the enlargement works as expected, but the background stays black for "all" grey flavors < FFFFFF

Re: Colored Tab

Cool stuff, Don!

Hmmm, for background color every grey apart from FFFFFF gives me black background. Tab enlargement is also "impaired".

With the focus in AB I think it should behave as if the Tree was focused, right?
Yes.

Ctrl+P?
This copies it from the focused list (which is what I need), but with the path selected in the AB the copied string won't be resolved.

Copy real path from Address Bar?

I might be blind, but I can't find a way to copy the real path (just like on the breadcrumbs) from the address bar via shortcut. Is there possibly a tweak for it?

If it does not work with newer versions I can as well remove the "fix".
I would leave it in, so that users of the older versions will benefit.

Re: 7-zip: drag & drop "forgets" folder timestamps

The archive creation time? No the folders creation time, at least 7-zip does. folder_ts.png AFAIK, archives don't store the Created Date but only the Modified Date of their contents See screenshot above. Just to make sure: What I'm testing here is dragging things out of an archive into XYplorer. Th...

Re: 7-zip: drag & drop "forgets" folder timestamps

Seems not to be fixed with 19.60.0101, and it appears to be even more complicated as the behavior is somewhat different depending on what folder (hierarchy) is used as the drop source. 1. When I drag&drop the (single) root folder (which is XY's data folder): For the root folder in the archive creati...

Hi Don,

thanks for investigating. When I read about „smartness“ I fear the day OSes will become subject to AI. :naughty:

XYplorer is the drop target, thus I assumed it would be XY's duty. But I don't know nothing about how drag & drop works under the hood.
