Re: Scripting Memory-Leak / Speed Degrading

Yes, still can read. Thanks for polishing. :-) This drives me nuts. With my regular scripts, the problem is still there. With my example script the error again has been cured by your fix. However, the loaded script doesn't seem to call the referenced function. So there some more quirks to be ...

Re: Scripting Memory-Leak / Speed Degrading

Hi Don, first of all, thanks a lot! The issue with my example is fixed. But there's always a "but". That's why I got a "bad feeling" yesterday once I have gone through this thread. And that's also why I had to open a bottle Doppio Passo Salento Primitivo right now. After I saw my exa...

Re: Scripting Memory-Leak / Speed Degrading

I have isolated my issue which still occurs with 20.40.008. Put this into <xyscripts>: testLib.xys Put the following code into <xyscripts> as whatever.xys and run it. include_once "testLib.xys"; // call lib function callTest(); // build in-the-fly script code $mscript = <<<SCRIPT include_once "testL...

Re: SC load with fc bug on calling sub

Just a first idea: I have a script (script A) which references another one (script B, my core library) by include_once. Within A I build up the source code for a third one (script C) which is finally run from A using load($mscript, , "s"); . Now, since the on-the-fly script C also references B I sus...

Re: SC load with fc bug on calling sub

Hmm, I never overwrite existing functions. Needs more time to check.

Thanks for your quick reply.

Re: SC load with fc bug on calling sub

Hi Don, could it be that this fix breaks the/a check for existing user functions? 20.40.0003 is fine, 20.40.0006 ist raising a script error for the very first time complaining for a "already existing user function". Because the scripts and functions involved are providing my generic menu generator I...

Who is using those sounds anyway?
Me! I have a weekly lengthy scripted sync job chain (*), where an end-of-chain noise would makes sense.

*: hmmm, scripted sync jobs [ sync() ] are background file ops, aren't they?

Hi Don,

Recent Location Pins are awesome (sorry, it's no trumpism but the truth  ). They made me use the tree again.

Well, G is not a hex char, man...
Ich war im vollkommen falschen Film (obviously, when using HEXs humming the ABC for the boy in parallel isn't always a good idea...)

I should report these posts. Sorry, everybody.

Qué?
Look at the smaller (relative) tab area size in the GGGGGG shot.

With a fresh instance, the enlargement works as expected, but the background stays black for "all" grey flavors < FFFFFF

Re: Colored Tab

Cool stuff, Don!

Hmmm, for background color every grey apart from FFFFFF gives me black background. Tab enlargement is also "impaired".

With the focus in AB I think it should behave as if the Tree was focused, right?
