So the Custom File Association works, but the icon and name are not displayed in the menu? What caption is displayed in the menu instead?

Re: Preview issue with some JPEG files on XP systems

Interesting case. Could not repro it (no XP handy), but it will be handled with more grace in the next beta.

PS: I assume you got the same error when previewing the image in the preview tab?

Re: "Fresh" isn't necessarily so. Should it be?

Yes, a design decision. I may not have talked about it much. The point is that the fresh version is mostly for debugging, and it can come in handy to have some things ready to try, so I decided not to wipe everything away when exiting fresh.

Yes, the 259 character limit is imposed by the Windows shell. Any thumbnails that XY cannot generate natively will be passed to the shell (and its limitations).

Re: Failed to rename a file or folder

In v26.40.0200 I removed the recent changes. So it should work like v.26.30.0000 & v.26.30.0400 ("There is no problem at all."). Can you confirm that?

Re: Like a new feature? Say thanks here

I did not expect it, but I now use both, the old red and new green Exit button, regularly. Very handy for development.
