haha.
Don't just focus on the structural aspects, there's an emotional side to this as well. These are folders that you use all the time, that you cherish the most. Sort of your jewel box.

Re: Custom path aliases in tabs
UFO is a nice abbreviation, but in the interface it has to be "User Folders", of course. It's a bit unfortunate, however, that the similar term "User Folder" already exists. Also "User Folders" is a bit lame. So I'm actually looking for a different name for the thing, i...

Re: Custom path aliases in tabs
It's still a lot of work, and I can't find a good UFO icon, but it's going to be awesome. And it will even support paper folders!

Re: Custom path aliases in tabs
The cool stuff comes later.
The common parent "User Folders" options are garbage. We want short paths: "Blah" not "User Folders\Blah".

Re: Custom path aliases in tabs
I've been looking forward to UFO being implemented since it was called UDFM. :P What would be the best place for the UFOs in the tree? 1) Child nodes of This PC below [User], above C:\ 2) Under a common parent "User Folders" in above position 3) Same as 1) but below Recycler 4) Same as 2)...

By "properly" you mean that the window background shows through? That's not supported.

Why (would anybody want to do that)?
btw, the GenericIconsForCatalog tweak still works. It shows generic icons for EXE etc. Makes it faster.

Re: Hover Box rounded corner
What you see is the background color of the Hover Box which you see when you use a frame (press F) or the status area (press S). Press B and it should toggle to white.
IMO without a frame the rounded corners don't look that good.
