Re: Tab Jumping Behavior

Yes, I absolutely see the logic in the user interface. It should prevent some users from 'losing' tabs that move off the screen. Over the years I've found many useful scripts in the forum, so just thought I'd ask if there was a way to turn it off, perhaps through scripting and a custom event action....

Re: Tab Jumping Behavior

Let me try to explain it better. Hopefully the video will help. • If some tabs have overflowed offscreen to the right, when you bring those tabs onscreen, this is what happens -- A clicked tab jumps to the right-most position in the pane. • In the provided video - the tab for directory '12' begins i...

Tab Jumping Behavior

Tab Jumping Behavior I use a vertical dual pane and tab widths set to 100, so the tabs generally overflow off pane. When the tabs overflow off the pane -> a clicked tab will jump to the rightmost visible position, or the second to the right most visible position, on the pane. Is there a way to keep ...

Re: Specific command ID #'s fail to run in catalog. Syntax error or bug?

Hi Highend, Thank you for the solution. Works fine in the cases that I tested.

Yes, it is odd because other commands like #128 (rename filename to all caps) should have the same issue with focus but do not.

Anyhow, noted and thanks again.

Specific command ID #'s fail to run in catalog. Syntax error or bug?

Specific command ID #'s fail to run in catalog. Syntax error or bug? Until now, I've used the catalog to run scripts and point to XY function/command ID #'s without a problem. Perhaps my error is syntax, but other command ID #'s work fine with this simple syntax as noted in the examples below. Comm...

Age Circles as a Custom Column?

Is there a way to script Age Circles as their own custom Column?

(For my use, Age Circles as a sortable column in the details view would eliminate the need for the other date columns most of the time.)

v18.20.0105 - 2017-08-04 23:03 * Age Circles Tooltip: Now additionally to the age the absolute date is shown including the week of the day. IMO that's a usable bit of human-friendly info. Age circles are a powerful force in usability. Thank you! One of the greatest improvements in my 9 years ...

I couldn't help but smile at this, since I think a certain company trademarked the word 'word' Microsoft Office Word => Registered Trademark word => Not a Trademark See proper trademark usage guidelines for MS products - http://www.microsoft.com/about/legal/en/us/IntellectualProperty/Trademarks/Usa...

They are behaving like bullies. The good news is that bullies are not good about using their brains. GPSoftware will need to spend thousands in legal fees to accomplish nothing. An honest patent and trademark attorney will eventually tell them this. A dishonest attorney will take their money regardl...

I hope this helps you. An explanation - Trademarks are NOT international. The...
