Re: Copy - Paste - Rename

You can set what you want pre/suffixed here: Configuration | Colors and Styles | Templates | Filename Affixes but I think it only works with Custom Copy enabled: Configuration | File Operations | File Operations | Custom Copy Operations | Use Custom Copy or when you use Ctrl+D (Duplicate/Copy with ...

Copy - Paste - Rename

Hey folks - it's been awhile! I have a question which I have been unable to find any reference to, anywhere. I edit a lot of files, but before I do, I like to make a backup. To easily create a backup, I select a file, choose Copy, then immediately paste it by choosing Paste. This works with the tool...

Re: From the Beginning (a running review)

From the Beginning - Review (Continued) Where's the Time Gone? I had forgotten about this review until the other day, so I hopped on to read it and see how I expressed myself years ago. Reading my posts, I realized that I never wrote my final review! I sincerely apologize! My Final Words After 7 ye...

But, I'd still like to get to the underlying issue
Which means, your mouse buttons are not recognized in XY but in every other application (on the Win 10 system)?
Sorry, no; only the Back and Forward buttons.

Re: Mouse Back Button, Back 2

Same trackball, I'm using X-Mouse Button Control (http://www.highrez.co.uk/) to use a double click on the thumb button, different scroll speeds for various applications, etc.. NO logitech drivers necessary^^ I might look into this, especially if it works with my favorite trackball, the Cordless Opt...

Re: Mouse Back Button, Back 2

I have a Logitech M570 Trackball on both my desktop and my laptop. On my desktop, I have the opposite problem: the Back and Forward buttons are not recognized at all! No matter what I do, I cannot get them to work (since upgrading to Win 10, if memory serves). On my laptop, the exact same trackball ...

Re: From the Beginning (a running review)

Just because XY may be easy to learn, it's also nice to know how some newer users feel about certain features...and you've got a good way of describing your experiences so I really do hope that you continue making occasional posts here about how some of the more unusual or lesser known features of ...

Re: Favorite Files Attention

Sorry, I was on hiatus again.... So, at least at the time of the last post (klownboy, above), what I was asking for (see my original post above) could not be done... Has that changed (as usual, I was sidetracked and never got back to this project)? Is there now a better way? Thanks for all the input.

Re: Favorite Files Attention

I was rather replying to Marco who sounded a bit more "wishy" to me. But right, there is no way to highlight favorite files automatically. Ah, OK, thanks. You may dedicate a label for Favorite Files and use this label instead of favorite Files to make them stand out. Thanks for the sugges...

Re: Favorite Files Attention

Forget it, too much burdon on performance, and also a lot of work to implement. Don, my question was "is there a way I can make my Favorite Files stand out?" I wasn't asking you to implement anything new, I would have posted in 'Wishes' if that were the case. XY is vast and I've overlooke...

Re: Timestamps Time Differences

From my understanding, NTFS stores its timestamps in UTC, in a value based representation, and any software that reads this data can be prone to rounding or interpretation differences in the conversion (to local time and such), including the shell, depending on how they do it. Different methods can ...

Favorite Files Attention

There is an option to bold Favorite Folders, is there a way I can make my Favorite Files stand out? I couldn't find anything in colors, tags, etc. This would be really useful in long, like-named lists, such as directories full of XML files where others need to be checked for content thus removing th...

Minimum Tab Width

Unless it already exist and I've missed it, can an option be added to set a minimum width for tabs? I'm getting older and my eyesight and mouse-aim (especially when I'm flying along in a project with a lot on my mind that I don't want to forget) isn't what it used to be. I always have my tabs start ...

Re: Zip Context Menu

As always, your response was swift and decisive, and I don't know if you are told enough, but your diligence and devotion is greatly appreciated. Sure, I paid for a license, but most other developers' concern becomes limited at that point. I have never regretted purchasing a "Lifetime License ...
