Selected folder(s) size on status bar with /flat view shows empty
Is this by design or am I missing a setting or have a bad tweak? I'm paranoid I've deleted all kinds of stuff because for me selected folder(s) sizes using /flat view shows as empty in the status bar, but the size column has actual file count/size. I am hoping the status bar would show total file/by...

Re: hanging while scrolling
I noticed this behavior some weeks back, but mainly pariticular to some folders that had lots of files/folders, and narrowed it down to too many enabled color filters applying to the location in question. I disabled duplicated filters, restricted others to only specified folders, got rid of unneeded...

Re: Starting Quick Audio Preview other than file icon
Made a hack solution for this one. I like the speed of using QAP holding a mouse click and mouse drag for seek while auditioning songs. But I really find file icons a very precise thing to click on quickly one after another. It gets tedious previewing one after another as quick as desired, when eyes...

Re: Sound sample management - A question
A little over 10 years ago I gave up my music production endeavours, not long after I was using Xyplorer to manage my samples/banks/presets, using Reaper as my DAW. Its been so long I cant remember exactly what my workflow was, but just glancing at these old scripts it appears I would audition sampl...

Re: Like a new feature? Say thanks here
Several years of browsing the forums and I just now ran into this topic, doh!
I wanted to say how delightfully quicker frequently recalculating folders sizes is for folders with a large amount of folders.

Config Color Filters - Hide disabled / Instant Color Filters Config
I have a zillion color filters defined, many many that are always on, some I use rarely by enabling disabling briefly, some I might need one day in the future, some were tests that may not even work, and there might even be a few duplicates. If there was a way to visually filter out disabled ones it...

Re: starting a script by clicking on a PaperFolder item

Re: Instant color filters for specific tabs/papers
A similar situation: I always have a dedicated tab for search results which contain results from many other tab locations that I always have open/locked. I'd use an instant color filter on the search results almost everytime, which reads the audio special property for bitrate. But I have to toggle i...

Re: CTB right click action results in CTRL right click behavior
That fixed it thanks. I'd like to note however it is set to 0 in my other 22.20 install and works as desired.

CTB right click action results in CTRL right click behavior
Just reporting in a lil issue. I upgraded from 22.20 to 22.40. When I right click my CTB with a right click trigger to load a script/function now pops up the menu that is normally shown for when you CTRL right click (shows "click" and "edit"). Previous version on my other pc work...

Re: Recurring random file move fail "clone filetimes"
I agree with "everything" you're saying. It may not have been that. But for whatever reason the problem has gone away so far after reverting back to 1.4. Version 1.5 is in beta and perhaps there is an issue with exclusive reading of meta data, I dont know. I'll post more info if the issue ...

Re: Recurring random file move fail "clone filetimes"
So far my guess is that is has something to do with my upgrading Everything from 1.4 to 1.5 beta. That was the last system change I made, and I think it seems to happen when I try to move some files right after a quick rename operation, and perhaps one file is locked by Everything. I reverted back t...

Recurring random file move fail "clone filetimes"
All of a sudden today, all day, while moving a selection of files, or selection of folders (sometimes just 1 folder), usually across volumes or a network share, often one of the files to be moved results in a failure and the source remains. The failed file in question is moved, or actually copied si...

Re: Clipboard
I may have just experienced the same issue. I ran a search in one pane. I had an empty paper in the other pane. I decided I would select all (7500 files) and copy, then paste in the paper pane. XYP froze for probably more than 5 minutes but was still processing something because it ended up responsi...
