Re: The Unofficial XYplorer Archive

Today, six years after its foundation and just a few days after XYplorer 20 milestone, the Archive reaches 3000 builds!
I want to thank everyone for your support!

Re: The Unofficial XYplorer Archive

Just a little remainder: the Archive contains, as of now, 2977 builds, at about one month before its sixth birthday and with the upcoming XYplorer 20 behind the corner.
A huge thank you to those who made this possible!

Re: Faster verification in Backup, like in Edit | Compare

I see... Those tweaks are already both to zero. I did some more tests and yes, I can see that backup verification speed is consisten, while sometimes Compare is fast because it uses some cache. This probably tricked me. Anyway, just to have some numbers, I did a comparison between two files, and cru...

Faster verification in Backup, like in Edit | Compare

I'm a huge fan of Backup with verification, but I notice that the verification stage is quite slow, slower than the copy itself. On the other hand "Edit | Compare | Compare Current File with Previous File" is fast. It seems like "Edit | Compare" reads both files simultaneously, while the verificatio...

Type and Stats sometimes doesn't reflect VF

It happens when you're working in a List with several thousands of items (8k in my case). To repro: 0. Go to said huge folder; 1. Type a visual filter that you know will work ( *.url for example, because I know I have such files); 2. The T&S button will show the count of those and only those items; ...

Locking behaviour of drag'n'drop

I post this here because I don't know if it's some intended behaviour of Windows rather than a bug... Let's assume I have a simple Catalog item, like echo <drop>; . When I drop an item from XY List on it a window pops up telling me the full path of said item. It's all ok, all cool. Now let's assume ...

Re: "Copy path" from BC without final backslash

And what's the rationale behind having some commands that return with an ending backslash and some which don't?
