Re: grouping files into groups like in Windows Explorer
you still haven't changed your mind about grouping the files? Since Explorer doesn't have all the colouring/filtering abilities, like XY does, adding more grouping with colours would make a mess. Yet if you really want that, i guess you can dive into mentioned colour-filtering and via scripting mak...

Re: Does anybody use the Glider?
Wanna add sudden story to my words. Just today i had a situation when i was on a road and needed to do lots of items reorganization, yet couldn't use mouse and had to deal with touchpad(which is A Pain when lots of drag'n'drop needed). And suddenly the Glider was really helpful, 'cause hold-to-drag ...

Just mentioning, you can use "cache search results" to be more safe about refreshes of the search results tab.

Re: Indicate "isFavorite"
@MBaas the easiest solution for you would be to either make colour filter or additional colour-tag, and manually mark all Favourites with that. You can even make a scripted button to do same marking in future, right before adding to Favourites.

Re: Does anybody use the Glider?
BTW i support what xy123 said: if there'd be CEAs for Clicking on Folder Icons (Left, Middle and Right Click) and Clicking on File Icons (Left, Middle and Right Click) - Glider would be obsolete for me and so much opportunities added!

Re: Does anybody use the Glider?
Can't say i use it that much, from time to time, mainly cause for me tree is more like a "roadmap/fast-traveler", and i'm not much used to do some file operations/drops there. But i definitely can't say Glider is useless, at the very least cause it has scriptable button and good amount of ...

Re: Automatically Changing Tab Color Based on Directory Path
Scripting can change tab's colours and one of CEA"Changing Location" may trigger such script. Should be possible.

Re: Scary Experience with XYplorer Trial
Don't have a clue how it can work after uninstallation, but all that described "run, not showing window but hanging in processes" sounds as a behaviour of some "internal defence" blocking the proper work.(like say some virus monitor false-blocking unknown app)

Re: Custom path aliases in tabs
Good point above about similarity to symlinks, so i'd say one of these would be quite descriptive: - UDFM (User Defined Folder Mapping) - UDFL (User Defined Folder Links) - UDL (User Defined Links) - UDTL (User Defined Tree Links) [UDTF (User Defined Tree Folders) could be a variant too, but it's al...

Re: add the ability to select alternative button themes
Wanna share my thoughts. For video player i use the PotPlayer, and one of reasons is that its skins are quite easy to edit. Especially the visuals, since usually all buttons are on one png. So what i mean, to let users have easy access and be able to modify the XY's "all-buttons-png" is no...

Re: Setting Up Context-Sensitive Keyboard Shortcuts
Is it possible to create keyboard shortcuts that are only active for specific drives or folders? Some people may refer to this as context-sensitive shortcuts. For example, if I'm using Microsoft OneDrive and I push the 'delete' key, the function would be remapped to "Remove Shortcut". How...
