I guess there is no interest in this.
Does anyone use the catalog? I use it to the point that I turn off the tree and have many catalog files that I can log depending on what I am doing. Thus the interest in a command to be able to build and/or edit the catalog scriptomatically.

CatalogAdd() Command
What would be really nice (for me at least) would be a CatalogAdd (and conversely a CatalogDel) command. I uses that catalog extensively and every so often I clean and organize them. These commands would make this process easier as we cannot edit the DAT files directly to make mass changes. It would...

Re: XY or a Launcher
Thanks Highend, I have downloaded version .4 or .5 but I need to get the latest and mess with it some more. Borut, "different users, different needs/preferences, different experiences..." - exactly. I think I am just looking for something that might be a new way of doing something that mig...

XY or a Launcher
This is more of a survey, maybe not exactly a poll, than a review or request. I have been using XY for many years now and love the flexibility. Many times I download a clean copy and redo my layout and workflows. Some of this is because of a new functionality in XY or discovering a new way to use a ...

Re: Interpolation Issue
Hi Jupe,
Thanks for the quick response.
I think I tried that but I went and tried it again.
It works now. I think I know what the problem was. I think it was where the focus was I thought I was coping one file and was actually copying something else

Variable resolving issue
Hey, What I am trying to do is create a little function to save myself some time. I am re-organizing my portable file structure. In my XY environment I "virtualize" everything I can; so I make use of XY variables (like <xydrive>) and substitution, i.e ?:\path\path... My function should wor...

How about:Really? Don't you think "circles" will do? I think "Age Dots" just sounds a bit funny...
chronological indicators
age spots
time dots
history dots
age leaves
sequence spots
time measles

Re: Age Graphics
In the Catalog? How that? Well I don't mean this exact function; I just would be exited to see some new catalog features also. What? well let me ponder for a bit. I know I have thought of things in the past but never got around to posting them. But I never would have thought that some dots would ha...

Re: Age Graphics
So far I love this new feature. I would be cool to get something like it for the catalog (I love the catalog). I have had lots of people positively comment about seeing the graphics instead of rows of numbers. Hope I can generate some sales. I have already changed my theme. Basically goes list this....

Update 2: Thanks Highend!!!
Is something that has changed at some point because I have not changed anything in a while?
Oh well, sorry for taking up space with my little stupid problem.
But again this is just the best forum for the best app out there.
Thanks Again !!

Re: Anyone see this issue with custom file icons?
Update. I just downloaded the latest beta into a directory and ran it. The only thing I changed was to add the custom folder icon like in the screenshot and I got the same result.

Anyone see this issue with custom file icons?
I don't know when this happened because everything seems to be working fine, but I did have a point in which my folder icons switched to another icon for no reason. When I went to add a custom icon definition I saw question marks in the list for custom file icons (see screenshot - I had more before ...

Re: feature request: Favorites Bar/Panel
My suggestion would be that, at some point, maybe Catalog becomes the enforced feature and Favorites gets deprecated. This might save some time and confusion. I understand the attraction of offering a quick-and-dirty "Favorites" feature for most users vs. a robust "Catalog" feat...
