Re: xyplorer crashes unexpectedly
Hi! New RTE... The only "special" thing I can think of was that some logical drives in the network were not accessible at that time, due to unconnected servers. I probably started a script that closes all the tabs and it is possible that some of them were pointing to nonaccessible location...

Re: Starting very slowly...
There must be a very special reason for OP to need separate instances of XY. Similarly to RalphM and eil, I start XY more or less once in several days (apart from updating to the new subversion, or a rare crash) and use tabsets extensively, having a logical "project" per pane. Even so I am...

Re: xyplorer crashes unexpectedly
Hi again! :) I just got it again, but under another circumstances and only with a windows message (XYplorer funktioniert nicht mehr). Everything what follows was happening in the list: Some 150 - 200 files in list. Right click on empty, new folder, manual inline renaming. Select some 30 of them, inc...

Re: xyplorer crashes unexpectedly
Hi! It is a "normal" tree (I guess that's a maxi tree). I do not use mini tree, but I use AutoOptimizeTreeRadical=1 (what is meanwhile maybe a default). But maybe that even had nothing to do with the tree - I am really not completely sure where I clicked just before it happened.

Re: xyplorer crashes unexpectedly
Hi! I am again just using this thread to report a crash with the version 25.50.0300. I am aware that I am actually not supplying any useful information - I simply wanted to at least report the fact. Although I was not reporting it, previous versions did crash from time to time. That was without any ...

Re: Network share not requesting credentials
Thanks! Here are my (very misterious) test results with v25.40.0011 (server names changed): // text get("networki", 0); \\server1 \\server2 \\server3 #0 00:00.450 Windows 10 Pro, 64-bit, Version 22H2, Build 19045.3803 (10.0) // text get("networki", 1); <EMPTY!> #1 00:00.040 Windo...

Re: Network share not requesting credentials
Hi! I "tested" .0007 in the morning under Win10 on a nonessential machine: It seemed to do almost nothing. Only one server has been shown. I decided not to report that, since I was unsure if my "testbed" was OK. Now I tried it once more (the same version .0007). The same result o...

Re: Rare RTE on "Back", conencted to logical letter
I do not have the starting condition anymore, since now the logical letter leading to server is "known" to XY. I think that the crucial thing here was the fact that I wrote something like Z:\ <enter> explicitly in the address line, got the reaction ("can not, not known"), went so...

Rare RTE on "Back", conencted to logical letter
Logical path letter (pointing to a directory on a LAN server) was not shown in tree (but was shown in MS file explorer). So, in tree, I went to network, where the server was visible and list of its directories was shown (both in tree and in list, so to say). Then I clicked on "Back" in the...

Re: xyplorer crashes unexpectedly
Hi! I am just reusing this thread to report the following RTE, which I have unexpectedly experienced today. XY was opened and untouched for a long time and then - apparently as soon as it regained focus hours later, it happened. But allas, I believe that there were several RTE dialogues, one immedia...

Re: The Glider™
Hi! I like the Glider and it really seems to have potential. Eil's proposal of the visual appearance of target and hot area seemed very nice to me. I am sorry to read that those will not be considered for implementation. There are another two things that I would very much welcome: 1) Possibility of ...

Re: Frequent collapse of XYplorer
I too have noticed this today with 24.20.0517 several times. Never bothered to make a screen-shot :( Sometimes it was RTE, I think it was Debug 10 or something but am really now not sure. Once it was just a Win message "Program is not functioning anymore, close or debug?". Always out of th...

Re: xyplorer crashes unexpectedly
Hi again! Yep, the same hard work here and no results for many days. :) But today I got it. Now, I am using XY on a number of computers and not all of them have the same version of it. Also, I have not tried to analyze this by exploring the change log details. (Actually this happened on a remote com...
