I haven't been in the above situation (yet), but it would be nice to have this functionality. What is more important for me is having one's tags not get messed up when moved by an external file manager (eg explorer). I understand this might be impossible to implement in a simple manner, but what per...

from yesterday on, I test all things weird on both computers.. both are windows 7 x64, multilingual (greek, english)
I m starting to suspect I m doing it wrong. I select 2 files, and then right click on the left (where the tag column is)
and select add tags... only one of them gets it.

I have always used the latest beta. With today's beta, both the concatenation and the vanishing tag problem seem to be gone! super! :D are labels going to be extinct soon? or will they be coexisting with tags? also, will there be buttons like the ones for labels? (select label, find label) all this ...

I didn't get that, what do you mean they are not portable? that they cannot me extracted out of one computer?

well, the title is pretty inclusive..

(reproduced it in an extra pc)
I edit a file's tags via RMB on the tags column.
I have "add new tags to tags list" checked.
I write: "books, psychology". They are added.
But when going to the lists management, tags
I then see "bookspsychology"

does using tags bind one to exclusive use of XYplorer for file managing?
I just copied a file externally from one place to another and its tag was lost...

no, it seems I can't. I have another computer, tested it there and it doesn't happen.
Weird thing is, it doesn't happen everywhere. Just in this one folder.
btw I tried opening a folder now in that dir, and XY crashed
I ll test it further and post here..

when I add new tags to a file, then enter a folder and go back up, the tags vanish. When i put a LABEL on a file (thus highlighting the whole row, this is something i must have defined a few days before), the vanished tags reappear. excellent work by the way!! multiple tags offer an entirely new way...

btw I m starting to feel guilty for having bought XY when it was on summer offer... it's a rip-off (me ripping *you* off!) for the features and support offered !! the support is unprecedented ....
