The value 0 (= hex 000000) is interpreted by XYplorer as "take the factory default value". :)
Why not leave the entry blank to use the default?

Re: AirPixels

Don, if you spent as much time learning a modern language as you do on "bells and whistles", then you would have a 64bit multithreading version of XY by now.

Re: Show off your Xyplorer!

Stay clear of 3D Color Changer 4, it messes things up no end. It has strange effects on programs, colours randomly change. It's not been updated since 2003 and clearly development has been abandoned. I reported bugs years ago, and got no response.

It's a total mess!!

Re: Update Forum Software?

we_universal looks horrible, but then I suppose black and white is appropriate for a program that is written in a language developed in 1964, long before colour graphics.

Sorry Don, but I can't help but dig at BASIC, it is such an appalling language.

Re: Name Sort not valid in 18.70

It can be very annoying, whichever way the sort is done. I use different text editors, depending on how I want lists treated, since some ignore hyphens and some don't. If you do use a flag, then underscores might also be flagged. There may be other characters in different languages - another can of ...

Re: Name Sort not valid in 18.70

Nothing unusual (or un-usual) in that, hyphens are often ignored in sort routines. Many words can be either hyphenated or not; re-name (rename), re-number etc...

Ctrl + Left mouse button for me also, ver. 57.0.4

I, as far as I know, have not changed the default setting.

Re: XY_Update downloader

I listen, and understand; but then I was a voluntary helper for both the R.N.I.B. and Guide Dogs for the blind, so I have worked a lot with people who have sight deficiencies. Far too many people do not understand the problems partially sighted people have.

Re: Feature or Flaw

pat55: I agree with you, it does not show the correct path. If you like Gospel Music, I assume you like Mahalia Jackson, a remarkable singer. Don: "sort4..." is a sub of "W9M", this is not shown by tree path tracing. This is made more obvious by the gaps in the trace where there is no path line. How...

Because I was curious to see what you had done, I looked at this on a friends system. What are you wasting your time at Don? ListTopHeadroom=64 Scroll to the bottom of the list and this is what you see: Screenshot - 13_10_2017 , 17_08_09 002.png Obviously, the spacing between the repeated filenames ...

Certainly if I'd used Klingons' is a fantasy it could mean Klingons existence is fantasy. English morphology is not easy, or logical at times!

That's to-days English lesson!!

Re: crazy idea, real tree files

The apostrophe means belonging to (or anything related to) a Klingon, not the plural of Klingon. Both my brothers were English teachers, and one became a lexicographer when he retired from teaching. I could also have used Klingons' (meaning belonging to Klingons).
