I assumed this freezing was just XYPlorer, but after a quick search I am glad to know it was Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) causing it.

If it isn't already, this needs to be made clear.

Don't know whether this is a bug or what, but I felt this was the most approriate place to post.

I can't do anything in XY until a file copy has done. XY doesn't say "not responding" but that's how it looks.

I never bothered sticking to an alternative to Explorer until I came across XY. Feels professional, easy on the eyes, clean modern interface.
