but all i say is support for compressed file is a main feature for software this caliber... but thats up to you. i personally hate to open wzip or any other just to see the contents of a compressed folder. c ya

the only use i see for those big thumbnails in wexplorer is the preview of pictures inside. than comes indeed handy. other than that.. just eyecandy.
folders can be identified and/o highlighted by many other ways.

mmm what about support for compressed files? still in to-do list? or simply will never happen.
and i would still like to see the vertical layout for info panel, givin more space for preview area while keeping in sight file list. but i guess i need some other fool ... hehe :roll: :P

yes Xyplorer is a grea application, and i use it quite oftenfor somthings other file managers cantdo, BUT most others serious file managers can do that and even rarfiles suppport. just a comment....

i think it is activex, cause i had msoffice installed, and then i got openoffice(set as default viewer for MS docs) an it previewed in tracker (XY) just fine. as soon as i uninstalled office, it stopped previewing. so..

there are at least 3: web site structure grapher, mobile explorer and an emulation-related one.. though i never heard of any of them bfore :wink:

i think its more like "flexplorer" (flexible explorer), cause u know, after all everone knows whats an explorer is, and then this one is a "flex"-ible one, so people would look forward to know whats that which makes it flexible, therefore, special

personally im used to dblclick=rename, and midbutton=close, but i dont think its big deal
