Re: Minimized window misbehaviour on resolution change

Sorry for not participating much in my own issue. Yes, I'm still around and still using XYplorer when possible.

Can also confirm the issue is fixed as far as I can tell. Just explicitly tested again with the most recent version (21.30.0000) and it properly resizes now.

Thanks a lot for the fix!

Re: Minimized window misbehaviour on resolution change

Wow it surely has been a hot minute, appreciate the update very much! Also first heard about the 64 bit / C# version through this, so appreciate it even more! Can't wait!

And yes, this bug still exists in the current release version, and is still annoying me almost daily

Re: Custom Copy ("Backup To...") showing useless "time remaining"

Sorry for the late reply, somehow I missed the reply-notification mail. The formula for estimating the remaining time is very simple. Say you have copied 200 MB of 800 MB total, and this took 1 second, then the whole job is estimated to take 4 seconds, so the remaining time is estimated to be 3 seco...

Custom Copy ("Backup To...") showing useless "time remaining"

Hello, it's been a while since I've posted any bugs or complaints, since this is seriously one of the best pieces of software I know (and use constantly). But recently I've come to use the "Backup to..." function a bit more. I assume that just means the "custom copy" in general, ...

Re: Custom Copy fails to request elevation

Ok somehow I missed that, did a quick search but apparently I fail at picking keywords, sorry :)

Gonna look into the blacklist file, maybe I'll stick with manual elevation for now, I think I prefer that (even though it's cumbersome).

Thanks!

Custom Copy fails to request elevation

Hi, firs of: thanks for finally implementing this, I've been hoping/waiting for this for quite a LONG time! Just awesome :D Unfortunately, while the old implementation correctly requests elevation when needed, custom copy doesn't. The simplest way to reproduce this is to just do a "Ctrl-C, Ctrl...

Re: XYplorer launches from installer with admin privileges

Oh I forgot to mention that it's about Vista/Win7 under UAC, where admin user doesn't mean admin-level privileges for his running apps. So not exactly: The installer requests (full) admin privs via UAC, which it of course needs to install XY. But it it quite possible to return these privileges and r...

XYplorer launches from installer with admin privileges

I don't know if this should be considered a bug, but I don't think this is intentional behavior. I also thought it might have been reported before but search didn't turn up anything. Well the topic basically says it all: Upon completion of the installation there is an option to launch XYplorer. Unfo...

Re: "Manage" in Computer-context menu doesn't work

No I'm running Win7, 64bit as stated in my first post. I have set UAC controls to the highest setting, which is a step higher than the default. With that setting all UAC actions trigger a user response request, as there are known methods for malware to uninstall a anti-virus program (for example), w...

Re: "Manage" in Computer-context menu doesn't work

admin wrote:Does it work from Explorer without Admin rights?
You're obviously prompted (via UAC) to allow the command (like every other command marked with the UAC shield symbol), but yes it works there.

Re: "Manage" in Computer-context menu doesn't work

I just tried the most recent beta, now it semi-works  If XYplorer was run with admin privileges it works, if not (like I usually do) the "manage"-command is just silently ignored (i.e. no "Application not Found" message anymore). What might be worth mentioning: when I tried...

"Manage" in Computer-context menu doesn't work

If you right-click on "Computer" (Win7, 64bit) and select "Manage" to bring up the Computer Management console, there is only a error dialog telling me "Application not found".

Thanks in advance!

Dragging a select box and scrolling breaks selection

Hi, I've only noticed this today, as I haven't worked with groups of files in a while... I can't select in XYplorer the way I usually do it: If I want to select a range of files, where the first few are visible (but not all), I start to drag a selection-box, and the use the mouse scroll wheel. This ...
