Re: restarting explorer.exe removes tray icon
It is the tray. The try on the taskbar where you can setup xyplorer to close or minimize to. I just had the issue happen. I had xyplorer open(it does't show the tray icon when it has a window showing). I killed explorer.exe. Then I closed xyplorer.exe and it sent itself to the try. So technically as...

Re: restarting explorer.exe removes tray icon
It is a bug that doesn't happen all the time. I get it about once every 2 days when using obs and multiple virtual desktops. I am using portable I believe. I typically do but I think once I did install it fully. I definitely do not have an xyplorer service unless it doesn't start with x. The bug isn...

restarting explorer.exe removes tray icon
Every once in a while I have to restart explorer.exe because the taskbar does not refresh. Re: Tray icon persist?
What about setting WS_POPUP(as an option)? For example, the everything app(or many) can be set to never show a taskbar icon and simply live in the try indefinitely. I don't see what would make xyplorer necessarily different that it couldn't do the same thing(if the option is set). WS_POPUP would get...

Tray icon persist?
I have a confusing dilemma with xyplorer's tray icon. I'd like to have xyplorer persist in some way on the taskbar. Ideally I'd like a pin icon and a tray icon so that I have easy access to it. I recently started using the tray persistence settings(close to tray, min to tray, etc). If I click on the...

Nested Categories and potential bug
Allow for nested categories? Basically where one can import/create categories as subcategories. Also, there seems to be a bug. I created a new category, added an item, then loaded the main category, included that newly created category, then moved an item to that category from another in the main an...
