I use a Sansa MP3 player connected through a USB port and XYplorer doesn't see it, although Windows Explorer does. It does recognize an external hard drive. I am running Windows 7 64 bit and using latest XYplorer version (10.4) I have tried connecting both before opening XYp and after with no luck. ...

Well, I was having problems because, until your post no one had mentioned this . And it will NOT until you have run 9.90.0403 or above at least once --and-- done a "Save All Settings" either explicitly or via "exit saving"... And my update check says that my current version 9.90....

Thanks but the reference given above tells what a tweak is and how to preserve it but gives no hint on understanding where it goes in the configuration file.

A link to a source that gives the layout of the config file and where to add tweak would be appreciated.

Have added codec and explorer can read nefs. have added this tweek to the end of the config file, saved and restarted without saving. config file still has tweak at end but still seeing nef icon and no thumbnail. I set up my previous PC running XP and version 8.6 ran fine.
I downloaded 6 versions as far as 7.7 on my new Win 7 64 bit machine and none of the version viewers work for my NEF files.

I can work around it by shooting both nef and jpg but it is a colossal pain.
Any other ideas would be appreciated.

Reinstalled program. No luck.
Downloaded no-install version, same issue - cannot decode

I'm at a loss here.

Went back a few years, can't see D200 NEFs either.

Yes, I was able to see thumbnails of D700 NEFs since starting to use XYplorer

New subfolder created and file movements made with XYplorer don't show in Windows 7 Explorer 64 bit (and LR3 doesn't see them)
Folder deletions don't show in Win Xplorere either
Newest version XYplorer.

Sorry.

It is just a regular wired Windows network in my home with two other computers, both XP Home, running. The sharing permissions on each computer are set to allow access to other computers on the network and I have been regularly accessing and sharing across this network.
