All I would like is a full path with clickable elements (ie. drive and dirs) for each pane.
Thanks.

Re: New backup name collision functionality for inline renames
Thanks everyone. Got it.
I **added** the tweak when it was already there. I knew I was going something stupid.

I have =1 not =0. I will try that.

Re: New backup name collision functionality for inline renames
I had done all that - but I did it again to make sure and it still asks for confirmation. I have rechecked the ini file and XY version (0020). Does it matter where in the ini file it goes I tried both general and settings sections?

Re: New backup name collision functionality for inline renames
OK - I feel dumb.
After upgrading - I added the tweak RenameOverwriteNoConfirm=1 to my XYPlorer.ini and I am still getting the confirmation.

Re: New backup name collision functionality for inline renames
If I knew how helpful this would have been (inline rename overwrite) - I would have begged for it a long time ago. I always had to delete the file first (after initially getting a dialog telling me there is a collision) - now poof one step - bye bye old file.
Thanks for the tweak. One less step.

Re: New backup name collision functionality for inline renames
I just wanted to says thanks for the inline rename overwrite. I do lots of file management and this will cut out a few steps. I have already used it countless times.
For those of us who use it - I hope you consider an option to turn off confirmation.

I agree - no need for a FTP client in XY. FileZilla does everything I need.

Thanks again, Stefan.
Thanks again, Stefan.
Re: prune dir
Stefan, Again you come through with a script. It works great except for a few things. Three items. 1. is it possible to check that a folder is selected (I accidentally hit the user button without a selection and it deleted the items in the current directory - not the child) 2. is there a way to bypa...
prune dir
Sometimes I would like the ability to prune a directory (move the files up a level and then delete the directory). I do this manually now by selecting all the files and dropping them in the parent dir and then deleting the now empty directory. It seems this is a perfect job for the file manager. Tho...
