Floating Preview Default View Question
Hi, I have a question about Floating Preview default view settings. When I open it, it defaults to Medium Icons view. I looked at configuration and search the forum but didn't find the answer. How do I change default view to Details ? Thanks. XYplorer 28.00 x64. Windows 11 EDU. EDIT I was referring ...

XY TB Beta 27.00.0907 64-bit - Floating Preview Does Not See Content of ZIP File
I have one test PC with Windows 11 24H2. Yesterday I installed XY TB Beta 27.00.0906 64-bit alongside with already installed XY 27.00.0900 32-bit . I did not test Floating Preview with any type of file. This morning I downloaded XY TB Beta 27.00.0907 64-bit . When using Floating Preview to extract c...

Re: XYplorer TB BETA 64-bit - Does Not See My Android Phone
Decided to try different PC that has Windows 11 24H2.
This time I did not uninstalled 32-bit version and just installed 64-bi version alongside. The same result. Here is screenshot.

XYplorer TB BETA 64-bit - Does Not See My Android Phone
Hello, I just installed XYplorer TB BETA 27.00.0906 (64-bit) and it does not see my Android phone which is connected to my Windows 10 PC via USB cable. Windows File Explorer does see the phone. XYplorer 32-bit 27.00.0900 (that I uninstalled before installing TB BETA) was able to see the phone. Any a...

Re: ShowDriveLettersFirst no longer works for network drives
Since a few weeks the registry entry "ShowDriveLettersFirst" is ignored if the drive is a network drive: I was the first (I think) to scream about this when version number went from 26.70.XXXX to 26.80.XXXX. But our master fixed it in a few updates. It works great with the latest version ...

Re: Lost Names of Mapped Network Drives with v26.80.0000.
Ok, I decided to play with Network settings once again. After checking/unchecking each check box I was rebooting my main PC. After I made these settings and rebooted my PC again XY showed mapped network drives like v26.70.0600 did. I rebooted my PC six more times and every time XY showed mapped driv...

Re: Lost Names of Mapped Network Drives with v26.80.0000.
I shut down 4 out of 6 networked PCs and rebooted my main PC to see how XY behaves. PCs that are turned on are shown OK. PCs that are turned off show Drive (LETTER:) XY26.80.0203_Rebooted.jpg Windows' File Explorer shows all mapped drives for all networked PCs that are either on or off with drive le...

Re: Lost Names of Mapped Network Drives with v26.80.0000.
I decided to try and installed 26.80.0203. Well, magically, drive letters went back to before labels.
Even with WIN106402 PC is off XY shows drive letter and label. With previous 26.80.XXXX versions it showed Drive (S:).
Hooray!
Windows 10 EDU 22H2.
