Re: rightclick folder should highlight that folder?
This is because you ticked "Configuration | Shell Integration | 64-bit Windows | Show the 64-bit context menu", right? Yes that is correct. That's indeed a negative side effect of the way the 64-bit context menu is implemented. There is nothing I can do, I'm afraid. Ok thanks. I guess thi...

Re: rightclick folder should highlight that folder?
It is hightlighted here. :? Where is the highlight when you do this? Anywhere else? Sorry if I didn't make myself clear in my initial post. This is in relation to the tree view. Whenever you start XYplorer, some folder/drive/ or whatever is highlighted by default (call it itemA) in the tree view. S...

disable/remove horizontal scroll bar in treeview?
Hi, is it possible to disable/remove the horizonatal scrollbar in the tree view? I know this option is available in other file explorers. I just can't find the setting anywhere. http://s9.postimg.org/h65ca95bz/scroll.jpg XYplorer sometimes moves the treeview if a folder extends beyond the rightmost ...

rightclick folder should highlight that folder?
Hi, when i rightclick a folder to gain its context menu, it seems that the folder I have selected isn't highlighted (unlike windows explorer). This catches me out at times as I feel that the context menu selection I'm about to make pertains to some other folder I might have miss-rightclicked on. So ...

Re: XYplorer integration with windows applications
Directory Opus does that (successfully). Although not with a simple registry entry (like XYplorer) but with an event handler "OpusOpenFolder Thanks for the reply. I tried Directory Opus on the three apps mentioned: Internet Download Manager, Firefox, and utorrent (from the other post of mine)....

Re: XYplorer integration with windows applications
Do you have a list of file managers I could try? I think I'd only be guessing at which ones allow the option 'set as default file manager'.

XYplorer integration with windows applications
Hi, I noticed that integration of XYplorer with applications on windows 10 is haphazard. I already mentioned a bug in relation to utorrent at: http://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=15279&p=133700#p133700 Repeating that post and mentioning that if have in configuration > other > sh...

Re: Favourite directories listing
it really only takes about 3 or so seconds to initiate. Mine is typically less than that...You can see the exact time on the bottom of "Startup & Exit" section in Config...for some unexplainable reason, restarts of XY seem to take a bit less time than the first time in a given boot se...

Re: Favourite directories listing
Thanks for the link to speed up XY. I went through the various options that were recommended to be disabled, but they are all disabled by default :) Oh well, it really only takes about 3 or so seconds to initiate. I do have a legacy platform i.e. 2.0 GHz athlon on a 5+ year old Abit NF7-S mobo with ...

Re: Favourite directories listing
Yes, XY has something called catalog (apart from favorites in the menu). Catalog sits below the navigation pane or tree (you can also have it above the tree). Use key F8 to show or hide the catalog. Have fun. Thanks for that. Categories is an even better feature than WE's favourites feature! Only o...

Favourite directories listing
Hi, I'm using Windows 7 (w7) and just had to find a Windows Explorer (WE) replacement. My major dislike for w7's WE was its lack of "Simple Folder View" for the Navigation Pane. This is simply the connected lines between parent and child folders that you see in the nav. pane. Makes navigat...
