Re: Slow file selecting/dragging - Preview culprit
Unfortunately it's still an issue, but it doesn't seem to have to do much with the previews anymore. For some file types (mostly HEIC, MOV and MP4 for me) the (de)selecting is really quite slow sometimes. It happens just as often for dragging, but that seems to be at the same kind of moments the sin...

Exit (Saving) option
When unchecking General > Startup & Exit > Save Settings > Save settings on exit , the File menu no longer shows an Exit (Saving) option. Instead, it shows Exit without Saving twice: saving.png The options should probably switch around when the setting is (un)checked, so that both options are st...

Script Function for Any Setting
Unless I'm missing something big, there is no function to target and tweak truly any setting within the configuration file (without making a script reading in the entire XYplorer.ini file, and targeting, tweaking and writing it manually) . It'd be great if the setting function would support any sett...

Re: XYPlorer window on external display hidden and unrecoverable when rebooting Windows in single-display mode
Can't you set XYPlorer to launch within the dimensions specified by the main display that's currently in use? Unless you make changes each and every time you use XY and want to have those saved automatically upon exit (opposed to saving them manually): Save the settings while on your main monitor; ...
Re: Separator
Perhaps I was not as clear as I should have been. I refer to the customization of the tool bar/s. Still not really clear to be honest. You would like to remove the separator line and replace it with a custom amount (if that is what you meant by "variable size", otherwise please elaborate)...

Re: Request for Multi-Monitor Support with Different Scaling Factors in XYplorer
The solution unfortunately doesn't work for me, for it makes the text blurry or pixelated one way or another: Default/Application 125% = perfect: default125.png 100% = fine, but the application and text are huge: default100.png System 125% = text is blurry: system125.png 100% = perfect: system100.pn...

Re: Few problems when using Xyplorer
sign of weakness. I did not insult anyone to became rude to any person. I'm just talking directly without detours Spot the instant contradictions. Might be that my way to talk and bring up some thing is not everyone's thing (sorry about that if so) but that's me. It's obvious that it's ju...

Re: Few problems when using Xyplorer
I'm not demanding and rude. I just bring up the problems and put them on the table, without to talk much around the hot mush. Just straight on the point. Not to reply for phred or Don, but you were objectively talking "around the hot mush", not straight to the point, and you're most defin...

Hover Box blocking other applications
I regularly (about 2-3 times a day) run into the issue that the Hover Box appears while opening another application, with it ending up on top of everything. So with the windows from top to bottom being: Hover Box, other application, XYplorer. I then need to go back to XY for the Hover Box to disappe...

Re: Custom Folder Icons problem
but it seems that the switches used (/e and /x ) aren't working. I only get the FolderGeneric.ico icon shown either normal or semi-transparent. All works fine here. Are you sure those are actually empty and/or inaccessible (access denied) folders? If you create a new, truly empty folder, does it no...

Re: Few problems when using Xyplorer
Hello admin, just want to send some feedback about the drag & drop function you added in version 24.30. Unfortunately, it's still not working correctly what makes me really sad, and I'm also disappointed about that because you guys had much time to improve it. Let's have a look what you said… …...

Re: Custom Toolbar Icons
For internal icons you can manually extract them from the exe, and make them individual external images, here is an old image map already on the forum if it helps, you'd need to cut it up. Not sure if Don would want you using them "elsewhere" though. Fair! One big problem I'm running into...

v24.60 Folder Icons folder
Having the icons (XYicon_FolderDenied.ico, etc) included is a really nice addition! But wouldn't it be better if those would come in a separate folder? E.g. inside an XYicon or FolderIcons folder within the (no-)install folder.
To keep the install folder a bit cleaner/more organized.
