Re: Assign Insert key to (de)select files

Code: Select all

SelectOldSchool=1
No mention in the change log, it's too weird.
So where and how do I set this tweak?

It should select the current item and position the cursor to the next item.
This way one can go forward and select several items.
Skipping is with cursor-down.
But the problem is that moving the cursor to the next line removes all selections.

Re: Assign Insert key to (de)select files

In NC, Total Commander I can can select, deselect files with the INS key (INS on the numeric keypad). And position the cursor to the next item.
Is there a way to do this in XYplorer?

Assign Insert key to (de)select files

I couldnt find a way to do this but I want (like in NC) the Insert key to Select en Deselect files.
I know of the Shift-Space but my right hand thumb is already hoovering over the Ins key and so it would be much faster for me to select and de-select files.
Any possibility to achieve this?

Sleeping Networkdrive Tabs and slow startup XYplorer

I have a few tabs to a networkdrive. Which are at sleep when not used. Every time I start my pc from sleepmode it takes XYplorer a lot of seconds to wakeup. Could it be the cause that the networkdrives have to wake up? If so, could you give the user an option to wakeup the networkdrive? (If the netw...

Tabs reset to Home zone on click instead of Alt-Home

It would be wonderfull if Tabs reset to Home zone on Tabheader click instead of Alt-Home.
If it is doable then maybe an option to choose between the two?

Then I would be able to reset alot of tabs by just a few clicks. Instead of Select..Alt-home.., Select...Alt-home.., Select...Alt-home....etc

Is it somehow possible to close the tree window on the left side?
I like to have just a dual screen without the tree.
Thanks.

Re: Show '..' (parent) in folder

The ".." method is so archaic it makes me shudder. What shudders for me is my right mousehand by too much clicking :(. Imo it might be archaic but at least I can use control keys instead of my mouse. But luckily I found other keycombi to navigate to parent/child. (Alt-arrows) BTW they are...

I just found out navigating in, out parent folders with Alt - up,down arrow. BTW, Backspace, Shift- backspace do the same.
