I too would like FTP support, but plain FTP wouldn't be enough. In fact it probably wouldn't do me any good unless there was SFTP (secure). But for now, I'm using WinSCP. The more features that are built into XY, the fewer other applications I need to have lying around. But XY is still awesome enoug...

I came to XYplorer for exactly the same reason. Windows XP's explorer was reasonably good, but Vista (and now also Windows 7) has totally messed it up.
