How to hide multiple labels semi-permanently?

Hi, I want to hide folders with certain colour labels permanently, with the option to unhide them when I want. I followed the formatting discussed in an early post I saw but I still couldn't achieve hiding multiple colour labels, at best I could only temporarily hide one at a time. For reference the...

Re: can I hide tagged files /folders ?

Hi, I also wanted to do hide folders with certain colour labels but when I followed the formatting in this I still couldn't achieve hiding multiple colour labels, at best I could only hide one at a time. For reference the labels I want to hide are 5 Red, 2.5 Pink-Red, 1.6 Purple-Red. I used the filt...

Re: Thumbnails in XYx64 are bad

The main issue was jus the scaling of the image to thumbnail size. In the 32 bit xyplorer it would upscale things automatically for most images to fit, but when I switched to 64 bit I just notice some inconsistency in this process, I'll just manually upscale images from now on. I'll put this issue t...

Re: Thumbnails in XYx64 are bad

Sounds strange. Got a screenshot? I have attached a screenshot, for the most part the image definition is fine saying blurry was a stretch but it is true that many images that used to fit nicely into the desired format now have either black bars on either side or just are too thin. Screenshot 2025-...

Thumbnails in XYx64 are bad

I mainly use XYplorer as a media library and have Thumbnails viewed at 600x800. When I was using the 32 bit version, the thumbnails were Crisp and fit to the desired frame (zoom to fill, zoom to fit). Now I'm using XY 28.00.0700 (64-bit) and I refreshed my thumbnail cache to start fresh and save som...

Re: Combining Folders and Batch Renaming the Files Inside All

You would just select all files in the ch. 2 dir and use the batch rename function with this pattern: <#11> (if the new starting number would be 11)... Hi, I'm having a new renaming issue related to this post. I now want the batch rename to include the chapter number, so instead of 1.jpg, 2.jpg.. I...

Help with Dupes

Hi, I like to download and collect manga/manhwa/manhua, i like to read these with the best flow possible but they have duplicates or similar images such as opening chapter images and messages by translators or ads. I remove these image files manually for the most part but it is really tedious. I hav...

Would I be able to carry over my current settings onto the portable version or would i have to set it up how i want from scratch?

Have settings transferable across devices

Hi,

I use XYplorer for the files on my external hardrive but when I open the hardrive on another computer the layout, settings and other things are not carried over. Is there anyway I can make it carry over?

Apart from that, XY saves it's config files in a path that's defined in Startup.ini (in XY's installation path)...
Thanks, I just changed the defined path and now i dont need to run admin mode every time.

admin wrote: 13 Mar 2025 10:51 1) Can you show the error message?

2) Can you append one of those files (zipped)?
Never mind, it seems I had corrupted webp images that had become hidden files. Showing hidden items and then converting them to jpg did the trick. Thanks for your help regardless.

Re: IcarosCache Error

Try to create it manually? Thanks, that worked. It seems after changing my pc I no longer had a user called lachl so there was no directory for the IcarosCache. This solution unfortunately requires me to run XYplorer in administrator mode every time to give it the right to access and edit the file....
