Thanks Don. I guess I didn't realize the mini-tree gets enabled when using

Re: Limit the parent levels displayed in the tree?
Just for fun run this through the address bar: loadtree <curpath>; Using 25.90 on Win10. In the interest of experimenting, I ran this through the address bar and now some (not all) root directories in the tree do not show -all- the directories. For example, My D:\ drive has 22 directories under the...

Re: XY subreddit
I'm a moderator on another forum and the users have been complaining that the FAQ on the WiKi is out of date. The answer is always "you can update any part of it you want." And it never gets done. But they'll still complain.

Re: XY subreddit
@ phred: Thanks, but been there done that. Many years ago. These sites are completely robotic these days, they are just click farming machines. Probably most of the clicks come from bots too, so it's a pointless cycle. Sorry to hear that, but I suppose you're correct. Everything is click-driven. An...

Re: XY subreddit
Perhaps you should seek out some software aggregator sites and/or software review bloggers. I just checked FileForum (https://fileforum.com/) and BetaNews (https://betanews.com/). The most review of XY at BetaNews is from nine years ago. FileForum's only download of XY is v23.00.0300. PortableApps.c...

Re: XY subreddit
I use Reddit only when there is no alternative (forum, email, etc) for support of an application. Personally I think it's a cesspool which contains a lot of mis-information. Yes, I've gotten correct answers occasionally but it's often not worth it. That's just my opinion. The question you should be ...

... be stuck there on 309 unless something else changes. Nothing is going to change unless Don can reproduce the issue. And without answering all of Don's questions, he's not going to be able to reproduce it. Screenshots are easily attached if you follow the instructions just under the text entry b...

Re: Portable Device 'simple backup'
However, I'm sure that your camera uses some form of memory card that could be hooked up to your computer with a reader that accepts the same. This! I never use my camera's software to copy from it to the PC. I pull the card, place it in my PC's card reader and -copy- the files to my designated dir...

How to Delete Tags?
Using 25.80.0200 on Win10 I decided it's time for me to experiment with the Tag feature. I can't remember using Tags previously, but there are two existing tags in the Add Tags window and I can't figure out how to delete them. In addition, opening tags.dat with Notepad++ does not show these entries....

My sense is that your English was pretty damn good before AI became a thing.

Re: Make Version and Meta data selectable...
Given that your English is better than that spoken by most of the people here in the US, it comes down to semantics. Which is fine now that I know how you're using the term. :-)
