Okay, I put the following in the SCRIPT textbox in the Manage User-Defined Commands form under the RUN SCRIPT category: $f1 = getinfo("SelectedItemsPathNames", ""); focus PI; $f2 = getinfo("SelectedItemsPathNames", ""); openwith "C:\Program Files\Compare ...

Manage User-defined Commands - how do I? . . .
I set up a script that takes two highlighted files in the same pane and passes those file names to a file compare program that then shows the differences between the two files. This works fine. But how do I get the script to pass one highlighted file in one pane and another highlighted file in the O...

Re: Continue to open X items at once? prompt
In essence that is what I do with the PowerDesk shell context menu. I hate WinZip - I don't think it is a very good program. But PowerDesk works just fine. Was hoping to gain a one hotkey solution with XY rather than using the several clicks of alternatives.

Re: Continue to open X items at once? prompt

Re: Continue to open X items at once? prompt
Errors? You mean there might be errors in the resulting .zip file? The message does not say anything about errors - it just asks if you want to continue. I didn't know there might be errors when I told it to continue. If that is the case, then I will use something else that can handle lots of files ...

Continue to open X items at once? prompt
I have set up a user defined command to zip selected files all at once. But if I select more than about 10 files, XY gives me a message box saying "Continue to open 16 items at once?" How do I get rid of this message box so that it doesn't delay my creating the .zip file? Thank you.

Re: Full path on tab
Thank you both.
It appears that renaming the tabs pretty much amounts to the same thing.
At least so far.
I am playing around with it all.

Full path on tab
How do I get rid of the full path on each tab and show only the current folder? Thank you.
