Re: Preview html file created by SingleFile
My bad, Jupe — I missed the SingleFileZ reference. It's probable the 'Z' version of SingleFile is not viewable but I can't confirm or deny that. Here's a comparison of SingleFile with SingleFileZ and the SingleFileZ appears to be a zipped alternative so that users can mine the resources in the brows...

Re: Preview html file created by SingleFile
I think what I am trying to say is that the html file I pictured in the preview is exactly a saved html file that was saved via SingleFile. Re: Preview html file created by SingleFile
Firefox has nothing to do with it, but maybe there is some option in SingleFile that saves it differently that allows viewing without an extension, I haven't used it personally. Re: Preview html file created by SingleFile
I'm late to the party here (storms knocked out our power and internet for some days) but I routinely save browser pages as SingleFile html for ease of capturing an article. I use Firefox browser and select that as the previewer for HTML and it shows a preview (not a beauty, but at least I can tell w...

It's old school and I'm pretty certain it doesn't have regex but it was quite capable of outlining trees of information. Documents had to be handled as links and I don't remember it havi...
