Re: Cannot Drag/Drop or properly select Video Files (mp4)
Works fine in Fresh., No delays, copy, drag or drop work fine. Might it be the Column calculations of video aspect etc.? Something in Configuration I could set differently? Sat, Dec 14, 2024 5:22 AM Update: Reset Configuration in two sections: = Fresh (Menus, Mouse, Usability) and (Preview) I remove...

Re: Dialog windows are cut-off or missing key elements
I think it's Windows 11, opening in one monitor vs. the 1st monitor seems to be the culprit. If I specifically open it in monitor 1, its fine, but when the application is switched to monitor two by Windows (probably Fancy Zones) or last window positioning. I'll run the check when I next encounter th...

Re: Can't get small script to change the timestamp of my video files
Thanks for your prompt reply. Yep, I worked on this for two hours and nothing. Then. after you posted your response I went back and tried it again in a sample script and ba-da-bing! It worked as designed. I'll never know why it was failing and its working now. Illustration of the changed NTFS Create...

Can't get small script to change the timestamp of my video files
I've tried this script any number of ways and it produces no changes
Is there something beyond this that I missed?
timestamp c, '<datemedia>'; //set created date of all selected items to their "media created" date

Dialog windows are cut-off or missing key elements
Well, I've moved to a different laptop and now Windows 11 and now frequently if I use my external monitor I constantly get dialog windows that are not complete. explorer_z5Ww6NoIVD.png Probably missed a setting in configuration, but I'm getting impatient trying to find it. Anybody have a tip to corr...

Re: XYPlorer crashes when snapping to PowerToys Fancy Zones
Having the same problem. Thu, Nov 21, 2024 10:25 AM Moving xyplorer window from 2nd Monitor to 1st Monitor using FancyZones. The window disappears when dropped. Xyplorer remains in memory but no window is rendered anywhere. Xyplorer is then not functional, no new windows can be opened until the task...

Re: Preview html file created by SingleFile
My bad, Jupe — I missed the SingleFileZ reference. It's probable the 'Z' version of SingleFile is not viewable but I can't confirm or deny that. Here's a comparison of SingleFile with SingleFileZ and the SingleFileZ appears to be a zipped alternative so that users can mine the resources in the brows...

Re: Preview html file created by SingleFile
I think what I am trying to say is that the html file I pictured in the preview is exactly a saved html file that was saved via SingleFile. I'm aware it's different even though it uses .html extension. What I was trying to demonstrate is that Firefox browser, as a default browser renders the preview...

Re: Preview html file created by SingleFile
Firefox has nothing to do with it, but maybe there is some option in SingleFile that saves it differently that allows viewing without an extension, I haven't used it personally. For example can you view the sample in the original post?. Sorry, perhaps I misunderstood the post - not about html file ...

Re: Preview html file created by SingleFile
I'm late to the party here (storms knocked out our power and internet for some days) but I routinely save browser pages as SingleFile html for ease of capturing an article. I use Firefox browser and select that as the previewer for HTML and it shows a preview (not a beauty, but at least I can tell w...

Re: Knowledgebase software?
I used to use ActionOutline 15 years ago when I was involved with various projects to manage various information. It's old school and I'm pretty certain it doesn't have regex but it was quite capable of outlining trees of information. Documents had to be handled as links and I don't remember it havi...

Re: Dual Monitors - Issue with Button Menu popup location
Wheathead wrote: ↑11 Mar 2023 13:01 No it is not misplaced. monitor=2, X=-1, Y=-1, flags=0, nested=False 1) But is it correctly placed and neatly aligned under the button, or does it pop right at the mouse cursor? The popup that emanates from the bottom seems aligned vertically with the left side of...
