Re: New User's Reference Guide
This type of information is very useful for beginners. and i would like to be able to point newbies at this information. But I think reading a text file is, itself already, seen to be geeky. I think it would be great if your talent and enthusiasm would be better put updating wiki mentioned above. It...

Re: no mouse down preview in...
ahh, sorry...
I have just realised that I only get a "mouse down blow up" on a thumbnail itself not the icon.
its a pity, as this could, easily, be the default for the icon.
I will put a request into the request forum instead.
sorry for mistake.

Re: Generating/Verifying checksums
I was curious to use this script, however it does it not seem to be working for me in the latest beta incarnation.
Could someone verify this for me please.
Thanks

Re: Junctions
However, is there a way I could colour specific junction points in the list, or even a a comment field describing the link as a junction? hmm you mean one specific junction (i.e. one folder only), or all (each & every) junctions? For the later: Configuration - Color Filters, simply use /J (for ...

Junctions
The new context menu, for junctions, is an excellent feature that saves me a lot of typing on the command line, and I hadn't realised I need this feature till it's implementation, thanks. However, is there a way I could colour specific junction points in the list, or even a a comment field describin...

Re: Increase screen real estate
Too show a further example of where I find this useful, I upload an image of another productivity program I use.. http://img196.imageshack.us/img196/804/dopusu.png I'm not trying to suggest that xyplorer should look like this. All i'm focusing on is the usability aspect. In fact I use xyplorer more ...

cached search results folder.
Hi I like the idea of the cached search results. but I use xyplorer in a portable installation. An option to set the search cache directory would be good. for instance if I could set the cache directory to %TEMP%\xyplorer, then all computer's where I used xyplorer would have their own cached search ...

Re: Thumbnails in tooltips
We already have the tweak (FileInfoTipHoldShift=1) where one can hold shift while pointing at the file icon to get tooltip. For thumbs is not bad either. I dont understand what you mean by this. And if it was taken too long, you could cancel the render just by moving your mouse away from the file. ...

Re: Thumbnails in tooltips
It might slow down performance but only when you were actually pointing at the file in question, at that time you would, probably be willing to wait an extra few milliseconds to see a thumbnail. And if it was taken too long, you could cancel the render just by moving your mouse away from the file. I...
