Re: Paste and Go

But I agree with CarlosTorch - it's a matter of another element in the right click menu in Address bar to habe Paste & Go. And it's logical to have it there. I'm used to use this in browsers a lot. I don't like the button approach, it involves pinpointing a small toolbar button first, otherwise I ca...

Re: Copy Image Special Paste PNG not working

Hm, I just get to know that such option exists :) . Seems cool.
But for me, it never works even the first try. I select Copy Image in-browser, but the option in XY never turns active. Kbd shortcut works though. Still, I often forget shortcuts for rarely used functions so a working menu is welcomed.

Re: Freezes when searching in large files

I think I found something. The files are all CSV files. Searching in one 60MB file for a 10-symbol string takes half a minute. Renaming files from CSV to TXT causes the search to finish in couple seconds! No, Windows Search is disabled for my drives. For some reason seaching in CSV files is ridiculo...

Freezes when searching in large files

XY freezes between files when using Find in Files to search in large (text in my case) files. Some files are few hundred MB. When searching a file, everything (UI) freezes for minutes and XY is unusable. Is there a way to make XY refresh the UI and its events queue during searching in a given file? ...

Website cert error revoked

Hi, I didn't find an appropriate subforum for this. The XY website gives me CERT errors - REVOKED while trying to access it in any browser. I can access it through free online proxies and if I disable OCSP verification (currently). I guess Don revoked it for some reason (2 weeks after its start of v...

Re: 'Cut' folder icon doesn't stay greyed out

I think too much useless effort went into this and would potentially make things worse. It is (was) Ok as it was. You get direct visible feedback right when you cut and that's enough. You already know you cut the folder/file and not missed the key shortcut for some reason. XY would not do anything t...

Re: Error with ContextMenu64.exe

Although it seems to work for me (using the standard menu, not 64 bit as default), is it normal that the contextmenu64 process stays in the background even after not using any context menus for a while? Also contrary to logic, the first invocation of the 64 bit menu went smooth and very fast, but af...

Re: Junction Target in Hover Box shows wrong value

I make extensive use of junctions and that's new I learnt about now :) . I didn't know XY could popup real target info. I had to select the hover box to include Folders as well. But yeah, I like Resolve Junctions option to stay off while being able to see the real path for a junction.

Re: Activate left tab on closing current

Sorry for late response. Yes, with both set it activates the previously active tab. And yes, the current combination is confusing. I don't like Recently Used Order when switching tabs (Ctrl+(Shift)+Tab), neither in browsers. And I thought when "Activate left tab on closing current" setting is turned...

Re: XYPlorer (Last 2 version) slow and freezing.

XY is a great app but I wouldn't (and hadn't) integrate it into Windows (replace Explorer), not up to the task (and stability) and I'm not sure it would be anytime soon (at least a 64 bit version is not on the horizon). Just my opinion. As a standalone file management app is great.

Re: Activate left tab on closing current

I couldn't find the other topic about that but still applicable here. Will the issue with not activating the last used tab ever be fixed in XY? The option Activate left tab on closing current is turned off. I always expect when I close a tab to see activated the last active tab, just like in old Fir...

Re: FILE COPY ISSUES

I also liked the idea to use the 64 bit context menu (because there will not be 64 bit version of XY) but while I haven't had this particular issue, there were other issues and delays/lags/focus_issues that made me use the ordinary/built-in context menu, which is often a pain to use with particular ...

Re: Crash when selecting files

Strange, I couldn't reproduce myself and make it crash.
I'm not sure why, but for me it shortens in 'xyplorer' path element, not at the end (Old).
I tried Win 2016, then Win 7 (the screenshot is Win7).
