Re: Droppable User Button Custom Captions
ahhh, yep, jupe is right -- the fix you made in .0003 DOES make it droppable -- i hadn't noticed that when i tested after upgrading. i only tested clicking the button which, as jupe notes, still does nothing. so this is what we're looking at i think: beta .0002 -- caption worked, but neither clickin...

Re: Droppable User Button Custom Captions
that's what we beta'ers are for! but hmm, i just installed the .0003 update you just uploaded and it didn't fix it for me. i'm still getting the status bar error that "c:\program files (x86)\xyplorer\[caption name]" does not exist. seems to still be registering the quoted caption as the pa...

Re: Droppable User Button Custom Captions
So i'm on the newest beta - it looks like the caption now changes, but it seems to break the functionality of the button. Clicking it no longer takes me to the paper folder, and dragging onto it no longer adds to the paper folder. the hover tip still says its a droppable user button but it doesn't s...

Droppable User Button Custom Captions
hi - i've been using DUBs more often recently but i cannot for the life of me figure out something that seems like it has to be achievable -- is there no way to customize the caption of a DUB? I'm trying to get rid of some ugly paths that show up in the caption of DUBs. (i.e., i want a DUB for "...

Paper Folder Display Names
Hi - saw some threads about aliases from loooong ago, but nothing answering this specific question - is there a way to make the folders that are in a paper folder show up in list view as something other than the actual folder name (so i guess it would be labeled alias, or display name, or something)...

Re: xyplorer commandeering clipboard
Not that I think this would cause it, and its disabled by default so you would of had to manually enable it anyway, but you could double check this isn't enabled: Configuration | File Operations | Undo & Action Log | Clipboard | Log clipboard contents and enable restore What version of XYplorer...

Re: xyplorer commandeering clipboard
Ok that's what i figured - thanks for the thoughts everyone. I had tried to disable any ahk-type context menu entries, teracopy, etc. when i was trouble shooting, but then i when i was able to link it to whether xy was open or closed - i guess i assumed the problem was xy itself. but that makes sens...

xyplorer commandeering clipboard
this isn't a bug, per se, but hoping you folks can help me figure out what settings i need to change in xy to avoid this weird issue i'm having: so i use flow launcher (a spin off project from wox - spotlight style desktop search/launcher), and i've noticed that whenever i have xy running - the copy...

Re: Closing the last tab to close the window
River - i am with you. i tweaked a similar script to achieve the desired feature. i have it set as a user defined command (User --> Manage Commands), and then just set my typical "close tab" keyboard shortcut (ctrl w) to that. the script below will also reset to your default startup path b...

Re: Looped File List
Yea, the home/end keys are perfectly fine stand ins. And understand others' concern. I see the new topindex function - i will fool around when i have time and perhaps can figure something out if i care enough. but you are all right - its a very special use-case and i can certainly understand why man...

Re: Looped File List
sorry everyone! didn't realize i didn't have email notifications on for replies. appreciate the feedback. I suspect what i am remembering is the serial rename - i do a lot of renaming so i'm sure that is what stuck in my memory and got distorted. and confirmed - that still works. but yes, what i was...

Looped File List
Hi - so I could've sworn that a year or two ago, I had my XYPlorer settings such that if I was using the arrow keys to move through a list of files, once I got to the bottom of the list, hitting the down arrow with that last file selected would take me back to the top of the list. It no longer does ...
