(Did anybody note the speed explosion in Win7, especially in drawing and scrolling lists?)

It does feel faster, but I wasn't sure if I was imagining it. How did you measure this to be sure there is an actual difference?

It's a certain drawing function that's completely screwed in Win7, and I finally found the time to work around it. So Win7 XYplorer is now as fast as XP XYplorer has always been. The function is used in hundreds of contexts, so it is impossible to give an overall report on the speed improvement.

It shows the cycles consumed by any running process. In real-time

Its not that nobody likes these things, its just that most of us are OK with however it was previously as it does not affect productivity or workflow.
But I do appreciate how nice it looks now.
