What OS do you primarily use with XYplorer?

Anyway, as given by my tagline, I use XY on my W2K sys, and occasionally on my newer XP sys..that's only because I've not yet moved to the XP as my primary.

There is no option for Server 2003...
So I ticked XP-32bit because 2k3 is more like XP than Vista.

The percentages are calculated individually and rounded down which would could cause the overall total to be off slightly.

Several months passed and it appears that it's almost "neck and neck" between Win2k+WinXP and Vista+Win7. Judging by those numbers, it appears that a lot of XYplorer users (proportionally, of course) are not shy in making a jump to newest Operating Systems and 64-bit architecture. I hope that this is/will be taken into consideration during the course of development. Short of this poll, I wonder if there's a more reliable way of collecting such data from a larger sample of XY users...

Those numbers are also a stark contrast to what Net Applications report is the market share of Operating Systems: http://marketshare.hitslink.com/operati ... x?qprid=10 Further reading (http://arstechnica.com/microsoft/news/2 ... mac-os.ars) indicates that Ars ( ) expects Win7 to pass Vista (no quips about this please ) and for WinXP to drop below 50% before the end of 2010. Time will tell...

You can't actually say that just b/c there are many Vista users. I, for example, am on Vista because I think an "upgrade" to 7 would be a major step down. So I rather jump to the best, not to the newest OS.

Very well, that's entirely your choice. Also, I said it because a combined total of Vista/Win7 users is quite high and Vista/Win7 are relatively new when compared to 2k/XP
