Well,

I have to dedicate another specific thanks for that MDBU-on-nearly-everything - it's simple: simply ingenious. :appl:

Hi there, I have to admit I haven't been paying too much attention to the changelogs recently so I've only just noticed (while needing one) that you've doubled the number of user buttons. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Don. You ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!

While it was intro'd almost 11 months ago, I would like to say thanks for including integration with TeraCopy: it handles copying files to external drives much better than XY's internal engine. I have only played with it for a bit but, in my limited experience, it works nicely and even has Windows taskbar support, so I don't to keep the progress dialogue visible to see how much is left.

Code: Select all

v14.60.0201 - 2014-12-02 20:28
+ Menu File | To Clipboard: Added command "Text". Copies the text of the
currently selected ANSI or Unicode (UTF16 LE) text file to the clipboard.
...
Brilliant. Thank you :appl: :appl:

Code: Select all

    v14.60.0212 - 2014-12-10 20:50
+ Menu Help: Added toggle "Command IDs on Menu". Tick it to show the command
IDs in the main menu (and where they are featured in context menus).
FYI, all commands that can be assigned a keyboard shortcut have an
internal command ID which can be used in scripting to refer to the
          command.
:ugeek: This is a great help with scripting. We can now view the command ID by just visiting the command instead of digging thru "List all commands" every time. Much appreciated! :appl: :appl:

      Examples:

        "Text|Notepad" {:Text};csv>Notepad

+ Find Files and Quick Search: Added switch /e (think "empty") by which the
search will return only empty files (empty = zero bytes) and empty folders
(empty = no items contained).
Examples:
a* /e //finds all empty items starting with "a"
a* /ef //finds all empty files starting with "a"
a* /ed //finds all empty folders starting with "a"
I have a lot of use cases for the empty folder search :) Thanks!

+ SC property enhanced: Added argument "#Empty" to return whether a file or
folder is empty or not.
Great, this will come in very handy. I assume it will be faster than having to use SC listfolder or folderreport or other means to obtain similar information. I didn't ask for this one, but thanks Don.

Thank you so much for "/e" options in search - v14.70.0009

Post by m48tx »

This option (referring to e.g.: /e) is zen useful. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Gary
