I disagree with it being more anything other than annoying to have the address bar under the tabs but whatever floats your boat.

i wasn't sure if the old topic was clear to understand so i completely redid it to start fresh. so any replies will be based on this new version.

I don't want to be considered unfriendly or take on a position of moderator...but:
If you thought you weren't being understood in the other thread, then you really should fully attempt to resolve the issue there and not create a duplicate one, ok? It just makes it more of a challenge to locate the desired old threads by doing so.

Unfortunately, now you've made it even more of a mess by deleting the original post over there...and so you know, once someone has replied to a thread, you as creator can't delete it so it's only Don who can...

Given that the other thread has replies that deal with the actual issue and not the clutter, I'd suggest you:
1) edit your first post in the other thread with the text from this thread first post and indicate it has been changed/modified.
2) request that Don delete this thread and let the other one be the surviving one
3) in future, if we don't "get you", just keep trying in that same thread...it took me a nbr of posts once to get Don to catch on to what I meant (because we were using slightly diff terms).

Sorry, but it seems you don't quite get the idea! There are two threads: the old one and this one...and it's the old one that should be updated by you to have the correct title and contents of first post (from this thread)!

You may not think so, but there are worthwhile comments/contents in the replies made in the old thread and there is nothing valuable related to the actual topic in this thread...

If you want this thread to be the survivor, then all replies made about this duplicate issue would have to be removed from here and all the topic related posts from the other thread reposted here...and that is a lot of extra work, agreed?

So please be helpful and do your fellow forum users a favor and make the updates as I've suggested, ok? Thanks!
