I don't understand at all why you deleted my post. This was a very legitimate request, referring to a tool that has no true overlap with XYplorer. I'm a registered XYplorer user and really want that functionality within XYplorer.

Did you even look at that tool? It's not a competitor to XYplorer.

I'm not Don, but I suspect it was because you're very new user on the forum, and pointed to a product that could appear to be a competing product, which together is behavior typical of spam/trolls...I saw the post before it was deleted and was on the fence about it also based on above.
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!

Well that's a shame. In no way was I doing anything other than requesting legitimate enhancements to XYplorer to make it an even better product than it is. Instead I now have a sour taste in my mouth.

Unfortunately, this situation has occurred before on rare occasions, and yes, it's not ideal...but please try and look at it from a developer's point of view, ok? For example, had you been on the forum for even a week or so and posted other typical items during that time, the reaction would likely have been different...so please don't feel that you're being treated badly just based on this...give us a chance and then decide, ok?

You can PM me the info and I'll take a look at it at least, ok?

Sorry, but even re-reading your original post (I stored it) I don't change my mind. (1) The product you mentioned is of course overlapping XY, (2) you are clearly advertising it in typical promo style, and (3) you are putting XY down -- all achieved in a mere 600 characters.

@older forum members: I might be a bit over-reacting to "ivanesque" postings, so be it. I will not tolerate this, ahem, stuff any longer.

I can assure you it's no promo. I found it today via freewaregenius.com and was intrigued with how it would fit in with XYplorer, which I've been using every day for quite some time. You're drawing unfair conclusions about my intentions.

I don't see how you can even begin to think that tool overlaps with XYplorer. It has only one purpose, in contrast with a huge arsenal of features in XYplorer.
