Group Files By Extension

Good night team! I'd like to know(wish) when or if there is any change of XYplorer include the possibility of grouping files by extension like in Windows Explorer?
I missing it too much when I'm using XYplorer (specially in thumbnail and tiles view), but i dont wanna stop using it, it's so much better.
This feature is very important in the way "we see" and organize files.
If it's possible, please, add it.

Not exactly like WE, but you can get a similar effect.

1. Open Tools > Configuration > Styles > Grid style, and set to "Highlighted Groups".
2. Now enable Tools > Customize List > Show Grid
3. Now sort by extension.

If the grouping is imperceptible, open Tools > Configuration > Colors and set more contrasting "Background" and "Grid" color in the "List" section.

Thanks SammaySarkar. You have told me that in a early topic, it only works in list view. I wasJust wondering, if we could implement a feature like that of WE it would be great!

OMG, a really old wish... 2013... it's really not going to happen? Please Admins, it's a very interesting feature, reconsider it...
