Sorting-related cmds, SC: sortby - keep current item visible

In XY v16.60.0307, if a focused and selected item is currently visible in a list, then left-clicking a column header to sort the list will keep the item still visible. The item will be auto-moved into view if necessary. However, executing some sorting-related commands under menu > View > Sort By e.g. "Ext", "Size", "Reverse Order", etc. or SC "sortby" e.g. sortby size, d;, will NOT auto-move the focused and selected item into view. Could admin make executing those commands achieve the same move-focused&selected-item-into-view effect of left-clicking a column header?
