Looking for some features

I am new to xyplorer and would like to know if it has the following features. I use all these Powerdesk Pro features.

1. When I have selected several files, I can go to the Edit menu and copy all the file names or file paths, which I can then paste into Excel.
2. I use Power Desk Pro Sync feature to compare 2 folders or drives. If they don’t agree I can decide what to do in order to sync the folders.
3. Power Desk has a size manager which allows me to easily identify the largest files on a drive.
4. I can use the File Finder to search in one path and then add the same search using a different path, with the results appearing in the same window.

I bought xyplorer because PowerDesk Pro was not compatible with Win 10. A week or so after my purchase I received a notice that there is a new version of PowerDesk which is Win 10 compatible. At the moment the new version is being offered to registered users at a discount, but I am not sure how long the offer will last.

XYplorer has basic GUI sync, but excellent scripted sync possibilities. Check out Panes > Sync Browse/Select.

3. Power Desk has a size manager which allows me to easily identify the largest files on a drive.

No dedicated feature like this tomyknowledge. (and a scripted solution would probably be too slow) But you can link the excellent SpaceSniffer utility (or any other foldersize-checker) with folders in the Portable Open With (POM) menu.

4. I can use the File Finder to search in one path and then add the same search using a different path, with the results appearing in the same window.

You can search in multiple locations by separating the paths with semicolon (;). In the addressbar: O:\ne\path1;T:\wo\path2?<searchpattern>. In the Find File tab (CTRL+F), enter the ;-separated paths in the Location box.

I would suggest to complement XYplorer (and even PD in any case!) with WizTree. It’s the closest looking to PD Size Manager, and it’s… incredibly fast!
Like, <2.5 sec to scan a 1TB HDD here…
Plus it’s portable, like XYplorer, so you can have them both on a flashdrive wherever you go.

@ 3: I use the following search template, it's not that fancy, but it works well as an inbuild light-weight solution.

Note: the template has already two standard file exclusions defined.

How to:
1. Unzip the template into <XYPATH>\data\FindTemplates
2. Load it via <CTRL>+<F9> (aka Menu Edit/Search Templates...)
3. Run the search
4. Manually sort the Size/Space column

Alternatively you can combine steps 1-3 into a script, e.g.:
