When I drag and drop a file onto a .zip file, in the same pane or the opposite pane, I get an error message: "Shell drop failed."
When I do the same thing in Windows Explorer, the dropped file gets added to the .zip file archive.

Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).
We recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once.
When attaching an Image, please use the Attachment tab at the bottom of your post and click "Add files".

I have the same problem. I then tried right-clicking and dragging, and was able to drop it into the zip file. However, in some cases it would corrupt the zip file, so now I just open the zip with 7-zip, add the file, and close it. I use the above "workaround" for .zip and .rar archives. Alternatively I use xproper2_lite which handles this beautifully.
It would be nice if it were fixed to work properly in XY.
